Abstract: A pull-on disposable diaper is composed of a front waist region, a rear waist region, a crotch region extending between these waist regions and a body fluid absorbing component formed on an inner side of these regions. The absorbing component is formed in the crotch region with a V-shaped first folding guide, a V-shaped second folding guide and a third folding guide extending in a transverse direction between the first and second folding guides. The absorbing component is folded along the third folding guide so that a core forming a part of the component may have its outer surface sections facing to each other and along the first and second folding guides so that the core may have its inner surface sections facing to each other.

Abstract: A disposable diaper is provided with a barrier adapted to prevent body fluid from free flowing in a back-and-forth direction of the diaper so that such barrier can be reliably held in close contact with the wearer's skin. The barrier stands in the way of body fluid flowing in the back-and-forth direction of the diaper and the barrier is provided in the form of an assembly of nonwoven fabric strips.

Abstract: The wearing article is provided with a fastening system adapted to releasably connecting front and rear waist regions defining a waist-opening. The fastening system consisting of engaging fasteners located on transversely opposite side edges of the rear waist region and landing fasteners located on transversely opposite side zones of the front waist region. Each of the engaging fasteners has an insert and an engaging portion while each of the landing fasteners has a pocket adapted to receive the insert and a landing portion which is formed on the outer surface of the pocket and with which the engaging portion is releasably engaged.

The respective lateral portions are provided with body fluid leak-barrier means extending in a back-and-forth direction of the diaper. The leak-barrier means include a plurality of strips made of a flexible sheet material. These strips are arranged side by side in the back-and-forth direction. These strips respectively have fixed portions and flexible portions.

A plurality of auxiliary elastic members extending across a panel are interposed between the inner sheet and the outer sheet and attached to these sheets between waist surrounding elastic members and leg-holes so that these auxiliary elastic members may contract in the waist-circumferential direction. Each of the auxiliary elastic members has transversely opposite end portions secured to the inner and outer sheets and an intermediate portion let free from the inner and outer sheets.
