    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology include an improved system for measuring the impacts of feature rollouts on machine utilization and service performance. More specifically, embodiments of the present technology include an exposure control system based on randomized machine assignments and a corresponding score card for comparing machine utilization metrics. In an embodiment, a computing apparatus identifies a new feature in a codebase, wherein the codebase has been updated with the new feature across multiple resources, enables the new feature for a target group of the multiple resources while keeping the new feature dormant for a control group of the multiple resources, collects performance information for the target group and the control group for a time period, and generates a visualization of one or more differences between the performance information for the target group and the performance information for the control group for the time period.

The method also includes the steps of providing a receiving plate having an elastomeric polymer layer, placing the substrate and the receiving plate in physical contact with an adhesive force applied by the elastomeric polymer layer, and performing a laser lift-off (LLO) process by directing a uniform laser beam through the substrate to the semiconductor layer at an interface with the substrate to lift off the semiconductor structures onto the elastomeric polymer layer. During the laser lift-off (LLO) process the elastomeric polymer layer functions as a shock absorber to reduce momentum transfer, and as an adhesive surface to hold the semiconductor structures in place on the receiving plate.

    Abstract: Multitask machine-learning model training and training data augmentation techniques are described. In one example, training is performed for multiple tasks simultaneously as part of training a multitask machine-learning model using question pairs. Examples of the multiple tasks include question summarization and recognizing question entailment. Further, a loss function is described that incorporates a parameter sharing loss that is configured to adjust an amount that parameters are shared between corresponding layers trained for the first and second tasks, respectively. In an implementation, training data augmentation techniques are also employed by synthesizing question pairs, automatically and without user intervention, to improve accuracy in model training.

    Abstract: A system for trajectory prediction with agent prioritization is provided. A motion encoder is configured to determine future directions of agents of a plurality of agents and strengths of the agents based past trajectory information. The past trajectory information includes past trajectories of the agents at a number of time steps over a given time horizon for the agents. An inter-agent encoder is configured to determine the relations between the agents based on the future directions and the strengths. The relations identify motion impacts between the agents. The inter-agent encoder is further configured to calculate a motion prioritization score for each agent of the plurality of agents based on the relations between the agents. The motion prioritization scores define a priority order. The motion decoder is configured to calculate sequential predictions for future trajectories of the agents based on the motion prioritization scores.

    Abstract: A single light emitting diode (LED) structure includes an array of spaced discrete light emitting zones separated by isolation areas. Each emitting zone includes an epitaxial structure configured to emit an emitting light having a particular wavelength over an effective emission area. In addition, the effective emission area for each emitting zone can be geometrically defined and electrically configured to provide a desired light intensity. For example, each effective emission area can have a selected size and spacing depending on the application and light intensity requirements. Each emitting zone also includes a wavelength conversion member on its effective emission area configured to convert an emitting wavelength of the emitting light to a different color. The single (LED) structure can include multiple colors at different zones to produce a desired spectra or design.

    Abstract: Methods and devices for transvascular prosthetic chordae tendinea implantation are disclosed. A catheter is advanced into the left atrium. From an atrium side, a leaflet connector carried by a distal end of the catheter can be anchored to a superior surface of a mitral valve leaflet. A needle is axially advanceable through the leaflet connector and through the leaflet. A leaflet anchor having a leaflet suture can be advanced out of the needle to secure the mitral valve leaflet to the leaflet suture. A ventricular anchor is anchored to the wall of the ventricle to secure the ventricular wall to a ventricle suture. The leaflet suture and the ventricle suture may be tensioned and connected by a suture lock to form an artificial chordae.

The assertion failure indicates an actual signal value of the combinational cone at a current clock cycle being different from an expected output value at the current clock cycle. The method also includes: performing backtracing on the sub-cones according to the assertion failure, the machine learning models of the sub-cones, and dynamic backtracing sensitivities corresponding to the sub-cones, to obtain a backtracing result; and outputting one or more target sub-cones as candidate root causes of the assertion failure according to the backtracing result.

Once it is determined that the probe has contacted the fluid, the fluid transfer device aspirates a portion of the fluid contained in the first fluid-containing receptacle.
