  • Publication number: 20060196868
Abstract: A heating structure and its temperature control method having therein a heat generating line and a controller. The heat generating line includes a PTC element and a short circuit line serially connected having an insulating fusible layer separating them. When a user sets a heating temperature, electric current is conducted to heat the PTC element, alternative string wave signals input into an AC phase shaping circuit and an AC phase delay shaping circuit are converted into square wave signals; and by measuring with a microprocessor at a given time the phase shift between the two phase shaping circuits to control the switch of a trigger circuit, the PTC element can keep on heating or reduce its temperature to therefore keep the heat generating line at a predetermined working temperature. The structure is applicable to heat generating devices such as electric ovens and heating blankets etc.

  • Publication number: 20060032540
Abstract: A valve includes a housing having a projection, a plate having a stem rotatably received in the housing, a follower having an oblong orifice for receiving the stem, and defined by two parallel and symmetric engaging flat surfaces for engaging with the engaging flat surfaces of the stem and for allowing the follower to be anchored to and rotated in concert with the stem. The follower includes an extension for engaging with the projection. An engagement of the parallel and symmetric engaging flat surfaces of the stem and of the follower allows the follower to be engaged onto the stem after the stem has been rotated relative to the base, without rotating the follower relative to the base.

  • Publication number: 20050139688
Abstract: A valve includes a housing having an inlet opening and an inlet orifice for receiving cold and hot water, a barrel slidably received in the housing and movable to control the cold and the hot water to flow into the housing. A stem is secured to the barrel and shortenable and lengthenable by different water temperature, to control the flowing of the cold and the hot water into the housing. A conduit is secured to the housing and a spring is received in the conduit, to bias against the stem. The conduit includes a passage to allow the water to flow in and out of the conduit, and to allow the spring to be quickly shortened and lengthened by different water temperature.

  • Publication number: 20050088341
Abstract: A printed monopole antenna, having a spiral copper foil formed on a substrate of a printed circuit board is disclosed. The copper foil has two parallel conductive arms in communication with each other by at least another conductive arm extending across these two parallel conductive arms. The first one of the parallel conductive arms has one end reaching a lower edge of the substrate to serve as a signal feed point. The copper foil further has an adjust arm perpendicularly extending from an elongate edge of the second one of the parallel conductive arms towards the first one of the parallel conductive arm. The formation of the adjust arm expands the bandwidth of radio frequency of the antenna. Further, by changing the length of the adjust arm, the overall bandwidth of the antenna can be adjusted as required.
