  • Publication number: 20060271969
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a wireless LAN system which achieves a relatively effective use of communication band, while suppressing occurrence of hidden terminal problems. When wireless terminal A and wireless terminal B respectively transmit signals (T123, T133), and Access Point (AP) in the wireless LAN system recognizes occurrence of contention, if AP successfully recognizes an address of sending source of this signal and a duration of this signal as a result of analyzing any signal from the wireless terminal A, AP transmits a CTS signal which gives a clearance for transmission to the wireless terminal A which is the source of sending the signal (T113). The wireless terminal A which is given the clearance for transmission by the CTS signal, resends a signal identical to the one previously sent (T127), whereas the wireless terminal B which is not given the clearance for transmission by the CTS signal withholds a signal transmission during the duration indicated by the CTS signal.

  • Publication number: 20060263159
Abstract: A knuckle 1 has a through hole 3 provided in a fitting hole 4 thereof. A cutting tool 9, which has a diameter being larger than that of the through hole 3 and also has a cutting part having a hemispherical leading end portion, is caused to go into the through hole 3 at an angle at which the tool 9 does not touch the remaining part of the knuckle 1. Then, a burr formed at a fitting-hole-side open end portion 7 of the through hole 3 is removed by rotating the cutting tool 9 while the leading end portion thereof is made to obliquely abut against the open end portion 7 of the through hole 3.

  • Publication number: 20060245786
Abstract: An image carrying cartridge includes a shaft, an image carrying member, a first casing, and a second casing. The image carrying member is formed with a shaft insertion-hole through which the shaft is inserted. The first casing includes two first walls formed with a first through-hole. Each of the first walls opposes each end of the image carrying member in a axial direction of the shaft. The second casing includes two second walls formed with a second through-hole. Each of the second walls opposes each of the first walls in the axial direction. The first casing and the second casing are coupled by insertion of the shaft through the first though-hole and the second through-hole to provide an inner space in which the image carrying member is accommodated.

  • Publication number: 20060238599
Abstract: A developer cartridge provided in an image-forming device has a developer side casing that includes a toner-accommodating chamber and a developing chamber; and a plate wall disposed in the developing chamber for partitioning a thickness-regulating blade from the toner-accommodating chamber. When a thickness-regulating blade scrapes excess charged toner off the developing roller, the plate wall prevents this charged toner from returning to the toner-accommodating chamber. A flexible wiper for cleaning toner detection windows is attached to an agitator for stirring toner in the toner-accommodating chamber via a fixing member. The fixing member includes a support plate and a gripping plate disposed opposite each other with a slit formed therebetween. The wiper is inserted into the slit and is fixed to the fixing member when a boss protruding from a restricting plate becomes inserted into a through-hole formed in the wiper.

  • Publication number: 20060234720
Abstract: To reduce load on an access point even if a large number of wireless stations are located very close to the access point. An access point detects a communication load value (S1 and S2) and reports it to wireless stations (S3). The access point waits for a predetermined time after the transmission of the communication load value (5) and detects a communication load value again (S6 and S7). The access point determines whether the first communication load value is larger than a predetermined value K (S4) and whether the second communication load value is larger than K (S8). If the first and second communication load values are larger than K, the access point outputs a warning output command instructing the wireless stations to output a warning prompting their users to move away from their current locations (S9).

  • Publication number: 20060193646
Abstract: When a new developer cartridge is initially mounted in an image-forming device, a toothed part of a sensor gear disposed in the cartridge is brought into meshing engagement with an agitator drive gear disposed in the image-forming device. The sensor gear is driven while its toothed part is in meshing engagement with the agitator drive gear and driving of the sensor gear is stopped when its toothless part opposes the agitator drive gear. One or more contact protrusions are formed on the sensor gear to be movable therewith. An information-detecting mechanism detects how many contact protrusions are formed on the sensor gear during driving of the sensor gear. Based on the detection results, whether the mounted developer cartridge is a new product or not is determined, and information on the maximum sheets to be printed with the mounted developer cartridge is acquired.

  • Publication number: 20060193643
Abstract: A developer cartridge is configured to be detachably mounted in a main body of an image forming apparatus. A drive member is configured to be driven by the driving force and to move in a moving direction when the developer cartridge is mounted in the apparatus main body. A moving portion is provided on the drive member and is configured to move together with the drive member in the moving direction. An interfering portion is disposed downstream of a predetermined detection position with respect to the moving direction, thereby interfering with the moving portion and preventing the moving portion from passing the predetermined detection position a second time. A detecting portion detects passage of the moving portion at the predetermined detection position. An information determining portion determines information on the developer cartridge based on detection results of the detecting portion.
