  • Patent number: 12157076
Abstract: A fractionation column can be used to separate a liquid containing multiple components into its constituent components based on vapor pressure. While the fractionation column may be designed for certain operational performance, the operational characteristics may change, for example, due to changed flow rates through the column and/or fouling in the column. In some examples, a fractionation column is described that includes a fractionation tray formed of multiple tray decks that move relative to each other. The tray decks can have apertures that move relative to each other between a position in which there is a comparatively large amount of open area through the fractionation tray to a position in which there is a comparatively small amount of open area through the fractionation tray. Movement of the trays can control turndown and/or clear fouling buildup on the tray surface.

  • Patent number: 12151110
Abstract: Techniques and systems for monitoring cardiac arrhythmias and delivering electrical stimulation therapy using a subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (SICD) and a leadless pacing device (LPD) are described. For example, the SICD may detect a tachyarrhythmia within a first electrical signal from a heart and determine, based on the tachyarrhythmia, to deliver anti-tachyarrhythmia shock therapy to the patient to treat the detected arrhythmia. The LPD may receive communication from the SICD requesting the LPD deliver anti-tachycardia pacing to the heart and determine, based on a second electrical signal from the heart sensed by the LPD, whether to deliver anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) to the heart. In this manner, the SICD and LPD may communicate to coordinate ATP and/or cardioversion/defibrillation therapy. In another example, the LPD may be configured to deliver post-shock pacing after detecting delivery of anti-tachyarrhythmia shock therapy.

  • Publication number: 20240386455
Abstract: A facility for automatically assessing referrals is described. The facility discerns first information about a referral by a referrer for a subject property being processed by a referral system. The discerned information includes a property jurisdiction of the referral in which the subject property is located, a referrer jurisdiction of the referral, and a category of service of the referral. The facility identifies one or more referral rule representations stored in a rule store for the discerned property jurisdiction. The facility applies the identified one or more referral rule representations to the discerned first information to obtain a determination regarding the compliance of the referral with referral rules to which the identified one or more referral rule representations correspond.
