  • Publication number: 20080138389
Abstract: A substantially solvent-free matrix layer containing (?)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-6-[propyl-[2-(2-thienyl)ethyl]amino]-1-naphthalenol is produced by adding an active substance to an adhesive solution, coating the resultant active substance-containing adhesive solution onto a suitable sheet, and removing the solvents in a drying process to give said substantially solvent-free matrix layer.

  • Publication number: 20080105197
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for applying a coating material, which consists of a liquid resin and a fine-particled abrasive material, to a continuously impregnated paper web which is used in the production of abrasion-resistant laminates. Said device comprises a deflection roller whereon the paper web is arranged in the contact area, a dosing roller which is arranged in a parallel manner on the deflection roller, a narrow gap which encompasses said two rollers, and an application unit. Known application units comprise slot nozzles through which the treatment material is injected into the paper web. The problem thereof is that a complete cross-linking of the paper web is difficult to obtain and the treatment material is injected, in excess into the paper web. The aim of the invention is to overcome said problems.

  • Publication number: 20080089296
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for handling unreliable scheduling grants in a WCDMA-communication system. A user equipment detects that a received scheduling grant is unreliable and adjust its serving grant based on that information. The user equipment is also able to report continuously received unreliable grants as an event to the network, allowing the network to adapt its operation to reduce the unreliable grants.

  • Publication number: 20070253830
Abstract: A fan unit comprises a housing, which possesses a first housing wall having an air inlet, and an opposite parallel second housing wall having an air outlet, and a side wall arrangement connecting the first housing wall with the second housing wall. A holding plate is arranged between the first housing wall and the second housing wall adjacent to the air inlet for a suction blower drawing air from the air inlet and having a blower motor, said blower impeller being arranged between the air inlet and the holding plate, said blower impeller being adapted to blow drawn in air radially outward. The area of the holding plate is at least twice as large as the area of the air inlet and the holding plate together with the first housing wall constitutes a diffusor for the radially emerging blower air. This improves the efficiency of the fan unit and an increase in pressure is achieved which makes possible a reduction in the speed of rotation.

  • Patent number: 7171211
Abstract: The number of measurements being performed in a telecommunications system can be reduced by performing a predetermined measurement in Cell A and in co-located Cell B, step 1, for example a received signal code power (RSCP) measurement. The difference between the two signals is determined, and stored for future reference, step 3. Once the difference value has been established, the mobile station no longer needs to perform measurements on both Cell A and Cell B. Instead, if a subsequent measurement is made on Cell A, step 5, the network can estimate the measurement for Cell B based on the difference signal previously determined, step 7.

  • Patent number: 7016320
Abstract: In a mobile communication system (T1) a time interval selection means (TISM) in a network control means (RNC) determines a time interval and sends an indication about this time interval to a subscriber station (MS) in a time interval indication signal. A time interval signal determining means (TISDM) in the subscriber station (MS) detects the time interval and an IF measurement means (IFMM) carries out inter-frequency/inter-system measurements in the detected time interval specified by the network control means (RNC). In this time interval the temporary reduction of the quality of service QoS on the communication connection (CC) is planed by the network control means (RNC). However, independent as to whether a delay-sensitive or loss-sensitive data transmission is carried out, the network control means (RNC) can make provisions in order to compensate the temporary reduction of the quality of service.

  • Patent number: 6963741
Abstract: A method and device for controlling resources to avoid congestion in a cellular radio system having a mobile terminal connectable to a network via one or more base stations. When the mobile terminal sends an uplink signal, each base station receives a different uplink signal due to different radio paths between the mobile terminal and the base station. A resulting signal corresponding to the uplink signal sent from the mobile terminal is derived from the received signals, and the importance of each received signal to the resulting signal is determined. If there is a shortage or a projected shortage of resources to handle current or projected traffic demand in the base station, downlink radio links from the base station to the mobile terminal are prioritized according to the determined importance of each received uplink signal, and resources are freed from lower priority downlink radio links to avoid congestion.

  • Patent number: 6879832
Abstract: In the context of a radio communications system that includes a core network coupled to a radio access network (RAN) and a plurality of mobile terminals, a connection may be established between the core network and one of the plurality of mobile terminals through the radio access network. A temporary RAN identifier is associated with the mobile terminal for the established connection. The temporary RAN identifier is used to assist in the transfer of information pertaining to the established connection or to the establishment of that connection through the radio access network. The radio access network includes a first RAN node associated with a first geographical coverage area and a second RAN node associated with a second geographical coverage area. When the mobile terminal moves from the first coverage area to the second coverage area, the connection is re-established through the RAN by way of the first and second RAN nodes using the temporary RAN identifier.
