  • Patent number: 11729769
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a group-common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), where the group-common PDSCH is repeated for a number of repetitions. Accordingly, the UE may determine this number of repetitions and then monitor for the group-common PDSCH based on the number of repetitions. In some implementations, the group-common PDSCH may include a semi-static repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group aggregation factor. Additionally or alternatively, the group-common PDSCH may include a dynamic repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group repetition number. Additionally, the techniques described herein may enable the configuration for the repeated group-common PDSCH to include gaps between each repetition of the group-common PDSCH and for the UE to transmit acknowledgment feedback for the repetitions of the group-common PDSCH.

  • Patent number: 11722287
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may identify multiple regions within a subframe, such as one or more uplink regions, one or more downlink regions, and a guard region. The wireless device may identify and communicate during each region based on a timing relationship between the downlink region and the uplink region. For example, the device may expect hybrid automated repeat request (HARQ) feedback for one downlink region in the same subframe based on the proximity to the next uplink region. Another downlink region may not have HARQ feedback in the same subframe. Similarly, uplink regions may or may not be scheduled within the same subframe.

  • Patent number: 11722278
Abstract: Quasi-colocation (QCL) indication is discussed after downlink transmission. In the management of multiple transmission-reception point (TRP) downlink transmissions, a second indication of a QCL assumption for a particular downlink transmission may be transmitted to receiving user equipment (UEs) after transmission of the downlink transmission. Once a TRP passes a listen before talk (LBT) procedure in a first time interval, it may send a first downlink control information (DCI) with indication of a first QCL assumption for the transmission in the first time interval. The TRP then transmits the downlink transmission intended for part of the multi-TRP downlink transmission. Upon receiving an indication that another of the TRPs was unsuccessful in its part of the multi-TRP transmission, the TRP may transmit a second DCI in a subsequent time interval with adjustments to the QCL assumption for the UEs to use in processing the downlink transmission from the first time interval.

  • Patent number: 11723021
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit two or more consecutive transmissions that may be used for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling. If criteria for DMRS bundling are not satisfied, the UE may generate dummy data to transmit during the skipped configured grant occasion, and may maintain phase continuity across the skipped configured grant occasion and any other PUSCHs in a set of uplink transmissions. In some examples, the UE may deprioritize DMRS bundling for sets of PUSCHs during which a PUSCH is to be skipped. If criteria for DMRS bundling are not satisfied, the UE may not maintain phase continuity across the set of PUSCHs, and may refrain from transmitting any data during the CG-PUSCH occasion.

  • Patent number: 11722969
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine separate uplink (UL) power limitations for multiple transmission time interval (TTI) durations based on distinct power control parameters. In some cases, an adjustment factor or a power backoff may be applied to communications using one TTI duration to ensure that total transmit power does not exceed a threshold. The UE and the serving base station may also identify one or more demodulation reference signal (DMRS) windows. UL data transmissions may be demodulated based on a DMRS sent during the same window. Transmit power control (TPC) commands may be applied at the beginning of each window. However, if an UL transmission is scheduled at the beginning of the window, the UE may wait until a DMRS transmission or until no more transmissions are scheduled for the window before applying the TPC adjustment.
