  • Publication number: 20160205948
Abstract: An oven comprising a housing, a cavity located within the housing, and a rotator having a first food loading section and a second food loading section is disclosed. The cavity includes a single opening for loading a food item into the cavity. If one of the first food loading section and the second food loading section is located outside of said cavity, then the other of the first food loading section and the second food loading section is located within said cavity. A first cook setting of the oven when the first food loading section is within the cavity and a second cook setting of the oven when the second food loading section is within the cavity are independently controllable. The first food loading section and the second food loading section may be separated by a divider, which prevents heat from escaping from the cavity through the opening.

  • Publication number: 20160179870
Abstract: According to one aspect, a system configured to provide equivalent measurement values is provided. The measurement equivalency component is configured to receive, from a component, data requesting at least one measurement value meeting at least one criterion, the at least one measurement value having at least one first measurement type, determine that the at least one measurement value is not stored within at least one memory, determine that at least one stored measurement value meeting the at least one criterion and having at least one second measurement type different from the at least one first measurement type is stored within the at least one memory, and provide data descriptive of at least one equivalent measurement value based on the at least one stored measurement value to the component in response to receipt of the data requesting the at least one measurement value.

  • Patent number: 9318417
Abstract: Semiconductor structures comprising a III-nitride (e.g., gallium nitride) material region and methods associated with such structures are provided. In some embodiments, the structures include an electrically conductive material (e.g., gold) separated from certain other region(s) of the structure (e.g., a silicon substrate) by a barrier material in order to limit, or prevent, undesirable reactions between the electrically conductive material and the other component(s) which can impair device performance. In certain embodiments, the electrically conductive material may be formed in a via. For example, the via can extend from a topside of the device to a backside so that the electrically conductive material connects a topside contact to a backside contact. The structures described herein may form the basis of a number of semiconductor devices including transistors (e.g., FET), Schottky diodes, light-emitting diodes and laser diodes, amongst others.

  • Publication number: 20160008821
Abstract: Magnetic filter systems may be constructed with various arrangements of permanent magnets, including but not limited to checkerboard and spiral arrangements. When coupled to a conventional filter, exemplary magnetic filter systems capture ferrous particulates against the outer wall of the conventional filter by magnetic attraction, thereby reducing the number of particulates in a fluid stream and improving the quality of the filtered fluid.
