Abstract: A bobbin can be used for a magnetic component. The magnetic component includes at least one coil, and the coil includes at least one pin. The bobbin includes a body and a pin holder. The body includes a winding part and two plates. The winding part is used for winding the coil. The plates are respectively disposed on the opposites of the winding part. The pin holder is disposed on one of the plates, and it includes at least one locating hole for inserting the pin.

Abstract: A novel method for making a CO2 capture agent is provided. The capture agent is made of a calcium/iron salt. The capture agent is prevented from degradation at high temperature. The capture agent is fit to be used at various temperatures in high CO2 densities for achieving high CO2 capture capacity, environmental protection and low power consumption.

Abstract: A computing device capable of instant messaging (IM) contains IM anti-malware software for preventing the transmission of malware-created IMs and opening potentially harmful IMs that it receives. When transmitting an IM, the software checks to ensure that the message being sent was created by the user (a human being) and not by IM malware, such as an IM BOT. This is done by copying details of a message as it is being typed by a user into a database and searching for that data before an IM is transmitted from the device. The software also ensures that when it receives an IM from an outside source, that the message contains a special encrypted signal that was inserted into the message by the source when the source has determined that the message was created by a human being. If the special signal is not found, it is presumed that the message was created by malware and may be discarded.

Abstract: A bicycle wheel rim for mounting with two tire rim portions of a tire includes an outer ring wall surrounding a rotation axis of the wheel rim, and two annular flanges. Each annular flange has an inclined inner surface for abutting against a respective one of the tire rim portions. The outer ring wall has two retaining surfaces, each extending from the corresponding one of the annular flanges toward the central radial plane of the wheel rim and being inclined radially and outwardly with respect to the rotation axis. Each retaining surface and a corresponding inclined inner surface cooperatively form therebetween an included angle smaller than 90 degrees, and clamp the respective one of the tire rim portions.

Abstract: One embodiment relates to an apparatus for blocking or blurring unwanted image features. The apparatus includes at least a memory, a processor, a browsing application, and an image blocking component. The image blocking component is configured to block or blur images with unwanted image features before the images are displayed by the browsing application. Another embodiment relates to a process for blocking or blurring unwanted image features prior to displaying web pages. A web page including an image is received, but it is not displayed the image until after checking the image for unwanted image features. Image features are extracted from the image, and the extracted image features are compared against features in a customized image feature database. The image is displayed if no match is found during said comparison. The image is blocked or blurred if a match is found during said comparison. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Abstract: An engineered process of manufacturing a carbon capturing agent calcium aluminum carbonate Ca—Al—CO3 includes steps of mixing, solid-liquid separation, drying and extrusion, crushing and conveying, and calcined molding. The acid bath of Ca+2 and Al+3 is mixed with the alkaline bath of Na2CO3 and NaOH while stirring to form slurry which are then subject to solid-liquid separation to obtain a filtrated cake. The filtrated cake is place into a drying and extrusion device to obtain granular material. The granular material is placed in a conveying and crushing equipment to obtain a powder material. The powder material is calcined at furnace for forming a Ca—Al—CO3, which is nano-layered composite with high porosity. Thereby, the preparation of a solid sorbent can be scale up under systematically controlled with yield of at least batches of kilograms used in medium-high temperature (400˜800° C.) CO2 capture.

The multiple digit results include at least two of a successful result and an unsuccessful result. Then, the wafer serial number is determined in accordance with the multiple digit results.

Abstract: A user is able to save his operating system settings to a web server. The user may then download these known, clean operating system over the Internet to the same computer in the future or to a different computer. Or, a user is able to save a known, good restore point to a secure site on the web. If the user suspects that his computer has been compromised by malware, the user downloads this original restore point from over the Internet. The computer is then restored to a known, good state prior to the malware infection. In addition, an entire operating system is present on a USB drive and the user runs his computer from the USB drive. The USB drive is inserted into a publicly-accessible computer. Drivers and network settings from the computer are installed on the USB drive and the operating system on the USB drive then reboots and executes on the computer.

Abstract: A method of operating an overhead hoist transport system is provided. A control unit, a plurality of vehicles and a load port are provided. The vehicles are connected to the control unit. At least one vehicle includes an image capture unit. Next, a teaching step is performed by using the image capture unit to pick up an image of the load port. The image is then transferred to the control unit. According to the image of the load port, the control unit determines the position of the load port and drives each vehicle to unload or load at least one article from the load port.

Abstract: One embodiment relates to a method of providing a computer security service via instant messaging. An instant message is received from an originating user account. The instant message is parsed to identify files and universal resource locators (URLs) in the instant message. If any files are identified, then said identified file(s) are scanned for malicious code to generate scan results. If any URLs are identified, then said identified URL(s) are checked against a ratings database to generate rating results. A responsive instant message to the originating user account is generated, wherein the responsive instant message includes said scan and rating results. Abstract: A shock isolation system for electronic devices includes a first baseboard, a second baseboard and a plurality of helical springs interposed transversely between the first baseboard and the second baseboard. The helical springs can deform horizontally and vertically to isolate horizontal and vertical vibration-impact on the electronic devices. The first baseboard and the second baseboard further are bridged by a plurality of damping elements, which have damping characteristics to dissipate kinetic energy and reduce the vibration amplitude and instantaneous acceleration between the first baseboard and the second baseboard, thereby to enhancing the composite effect. The first baseboard further has a plurality of buffer struts to separate the first baseboard and the second baseboard, and prevent the second baseboard from directly hitting the first baseboard.
