  • Publication number: 20050270562
Abstract: A print data method includes a slicing step, a compressing step and decompressing step. The slicing step divides a swatch of data to be printed and required by each motor movement into a plurality of slices, each having m bits to represent printed pixels and further divided into n segments, where m, n are integers. The compressing step uses an inter-slice compression to represent an (i+1)-th slice of data on a basis of an i-th slice of data for generating a compressed (i+1)-th slice of data and an (i+1)-th control character. The decompressing step uses an inter-slice decompression with respect to the inter-slice compression to restore the (i+1)-th slice of data from the compressed (i+1)-th slice of data for further printing.

  • Publication number: 20050272342
Abstract: A patterned carbon nanotube process adopted for an electronic device is described. A negative photoresist layer is coated on a cathode substrate. A mask layer is formed with a carved cavity therein during a development process. A carbon nanotube spray is sprayed thereon to fill the carved cavity with a plurality of carbon nanotubes. The cathode substrate is sintered at a high temperature or in a vacuum to remove the mask layer and part of the carbon nanotubes adhered to the mask layer simultaneously, and to connect the rest of the carbon nanotubes firmly to the cathode conductive layer as an electron emitter layer with high resolution for increasing current density and uniformity of illumination of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20050264164
Abstract: A field mission display has a filter layer, using three primary colors, green, red and blue, filters or screen printing or spray to form three primary colors on the light source output surface of the anode electrode layer thereof. When a voltage is applied from a driving circuit to the gate conductive layer and the cathode electrode layer, an electron beam is generated from the cathode electrode layer. The electron beam impinges the white phosphor powder of the anode electrode to create a white light source. The white light is then processed three primary color filters or structures to create a color image. Such device simplifies the structure of the anode electrode layer and the driving circuit. In addition, the luminescent efficiency of various colors of phosphor powder is no longer a factor affects the luminescent characteristics display.

  • Publication number: 20050258504
Abstract: A fuse structure for a semiconductor device is provided. The fuse structure includes a fuse layer between the upper and lower insulating layers. The fuse layer is connected to the other metal layers through the via plugs. The fuse layer includes at least two separate blocks and at least a connecting block. For the current flowing through the separated blocks in a zig-zag path, of the fuse structure provides at least a fusing point or more than one fusing points. In this way, the negative impact of the single failed fuse can be reduced, thus increasing the reliability of the fuse structure. Also the damage to the devices adjacent to the fuse due to the heat generated by the current can be prevented because when the heat generated during the fuse blowing process will be conducted to the adjacent blocks to facilitate heat dissipation.

  • Publication number: 20050254715
Abstract: A block decoding method and system capable of decoding and outputting data in a longitudinal direction, which obtains a start address in an input compressed datastream for each block of a decompressed image by a pre-scanned compressed datastream such that the system can obtain 90°-rotated blocks by performing a Huffman decoding in a longitudinal direction, a 90°-rotated zigzag arrangement, an inverse quantization and an IDCT. Since the decoding direction is identical to the output direction of a printer, only a desired column of blocks of the decompressed image is temporarily stored for output and accordingly required memory size is relatively reduce.

  • Patent number: 6964898
Abstract: A method for fabricating a trench capacitor is disclosed. A substrate is etched to form a first trench recess with a first depth. A spacer layer is deposited on interior surface of the first trench recess. The spacer layer is anisotropic etched back to form a spacer on sidewall of the first trench recess, and through the first trench recess, continuing to etch the substrate so as to form a second trench recess with a second depth. A silicon oxide layer is formed on interior surface not covered by the spacer within the second trench recess. The silicon oxide layer is then anisotropic etched to form a self-aligned collar oxide layer on sidewall of the second trench recess. Through the second trench recess, etching continues to remove the substrate to form a deep trench recess with a third depth. The deep trench recess is thereafter doped to form a diffusion region at a lower portion of the deep trench recess.
