    Abstract: The present invention provides an in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue of Neomarica gracilis, which is obtained from a tissue culture preparation of an N. gracilis tissue capable of proliferating, such as a root, a leaf, a basal portion of a leaf, and/or a rhizome. The in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue of N. gracilis contains tectorigenin, which is distinctively different from the naturally grown rhizome of N. gracilis which contains no tectorigenin. The present invention further provides a method for cultivating the in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue, a method for extracting the tectorigenin from the flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue, and quantitative methods for determining the amount of tectorigenin in the in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an in vitro resveratrol-rich callus tissue of Vitis thunbergii Sieb. et Zucc. which is a callus tissue developed from a tissue culture system containing one or more plant growth regulators (PGRs) and cultured from a stem or a petiole tissue explant of a wild type of V. thunbergii or a cultivated plantlet of V. thunbergii. The cultivated plantlet is in turn derived from a shoot of the wild type of V. thunbergii cultivated in a plantlet culture system containing no PGRs. The in vitro resveratrol-rich callus tissue of V. thunbergii is characterized by its containing at least about 1,000 to 10,000 mg/kg of dried weight of resveratrol, predominantly in the form of trans-resveratrol and/or resveratrol-O-glucoside, and being ready for harvest or subculture in about 30 days.

    Abstract: A temperature control switch comprises a switch casing, which contains a springy slice, where the springy slice is provided with a thermostatic bimetal strip on its bouncing end. The thermostatic bimetal strip is provided with an electric heating device, where the first end and second end of the device are respectively connected in series between a first control terminal and the thermostatic bimetal strip. The elevated end of the thermostatic bimetal strip links one end of an uplifted metal slice to form an incompletely fixed link point, while the other end of the uplifted metal slice features a swaying contact, which corresponds to the contact point that a second control terminal joins. When subjected to heat, the one end of the thermostatic bimetal strip deforms, enabling the swaying contact to separate from the contact point, thus preventing the contact point from being damaged by the heat.

    Abstract: A scheduling technique for wireless multihop relay communication systems is provided. With spatial separation caused by the shadowing effect of surrounding buildings, a base station and its relay stations in a single cell are divided into several groups by following the rule that stations with severe potential interference are separated into different groups. The base station arranges the scheduling of these groups and serves these groups sequentially in the time domain. To take advantage of shadow effect, the same radio resources can be scheduled for relay stations within the same group due to the isolation of interfering signals. In the present invention, base stations and relay stations are equipped with directional antennas or sector antennas to further exploit the advantage of spatial separations. Different relay groups can also reuse the radio resource through appropriate power control. The cell capacity can be enhanced substantially because of aggressive radio resource reuse.

The interception device performs interception of data packets from the user end device according to preset conditions and allows the intercepted data packets to be formedints event logs and then transmits the event logs to the security center for storage. And, the security center compares the stored event logs according to specific search commands for providing security services in correspondence with the stored event logs, thereby overcoming the drawbacks of conventional MPLS or mirror techniques in which the transfer of mass data packets causes overloading of the servers of the security center and excessive consumption of network bandwidth.

The Ag bump is disposed on the UBM layer to form as a pillar bump having a top surface and a pillar sidewall. The creeping-resist layer is formed at least on the pillar sidewall to fully encapsulate the Ag bump. Therefore, the disclosed bumped chip will have no Ag-creeping due to exerting stresses nor changing of joint heights under high temperature environment to meet the bumping requirements of lead-free, high reliability, and lower cost.

The electrical conductive terminal includes conductive pieces for allowing the pins to be inserted therein and a connecting arm for connecting the conductive pieces. The conductive pieces are arranged to correspond to the through holes. The insulator is fixed to the connecting arm. The light-emitting unit is provided between the insulator and the casing and is electrically connected with the conductive pieces. When the current is overloaded, the connecting arm will be melted to break, so that the light-emitting unit will be lighted up to generate an indicating effect.
