  • Publication number: 20080108305
Abstract: A scheduling technique for wireless multihop relay communication systems is provided. With spatial separation caused by the shadowing effect of surrounding buildings, a base station and its relay stations in a single cell are divided into several groups by following the rule that stations with severe potential interference are separated into different groups. The base station arranges the scheduling of these groups and serves these groups sequentially in the time domain. To take advantage of shadow effect, the same radio resources can be scheduled for relay stations within the same group due to the isolation of interfering signals. In the present invention, base stations and relay stations are equipped with directional antennas or sector antennas to further exploit the advantage of spatial separations. Different relay groups can also reuse the radio resource through appropriate power control. The cell capacity can be enhanced substantially because of aggressive radio resource reuse.

  • Publication number: 20080046613
Abstract: A computer having an operating system is connected to a first memory. The computer operates to execute an on screen display (OSD) program in a first memory and a basic input output system (BIOS) application in a second memory. The BIOS application operates to display user information from user information data stored in the second memory on a display before the computer's operating system is loaded. The OSD program operates to display user information from the user information data stored in the second memory on the display after the computer's operating system is loaded. A process determines if a user input is selected, reads a memory for user information data if the user input is selected, and displays user information on a display before an operating system is loaded.

Abstract: A data tracking method applied in semiconductor manufacturing is provided. Split historical data of a wafer lot is retrieved and it is determined whether the end of lot data of the wafer lot is read. If not, a maximum split number required for a split processing applied to the wafer lot is determined. Next, a virtual sub split number required for the current process station is determined according to the maximum split number and a current split number. At least one virtual sub lot for the current process station is created according to the virtual sub split number. Process data of an original wafer lot corresponding to the virtual sub lot is copied to the virtual sub lot and virtual sub lots for the next process station is continuously created when creation is complete.

  • Publication number: 20070191980
Abstract: A method for managing tools using statistical process control. Process progression for a wafer in a chamber of a process tool is recorded. When a wafer process is complete and the wafer leaves the chamber, the wafer is transferred to a measurement tool. A wafer ID of the wafer is obtained using the measurement tool. A chamber ID is obtained according to the wafer ID and a chart point corresponding to the wafer ID and the chamber ID is generated according to measurement results. A plurality of generated chart points are grouped according to a plurality of obtained wafer IDs and a plurality of chamber IDs corresponding to the wafer IDs to split a control chart corresponding to the process tool into a plurality of separate control charts. Statistical process control analysis is implemented according to the generated control charts and alarms are issued according to the analysis results to adjust an abnormal chamber.

  • Patent number: 7232972
Abstract: A line switch able to modulate light includes an upper cover, a lower cover and a rotary selector positioned between the upper and the lower cover. When the rotary selector is turned clockwise, the line switch can turn on and modulate light to be half bright, and when the rotary selector is further continuously turned clockwise, light can be modulated to be fully bright, but when the rotary selector is further turned clockwise again to return to the original position, the line switch will be under an OFF condition again. Thus the line switch has two stages of different lighting in addition to the function of turning on and off.

  • Patent number: 7202870
Abstract: The present invention provides a display controller for scaling an input source image. The display controller dynamically adjusts the output clock so line buffer requirement is reduced to a minimum to balance input and output image timing for image scaling or non-scaling to destination devices. The present invention supports up-scaling and down-scaling or bypass. The blocks of the line buffer operates in a continuous and cyclical manner according to the status signal generated by the line buffer status detector and the output clock. As a result, any buffer overrun or underrun condition will be immediately corrected by the timing and therefore the number of blocks of line buffer are greatly reduced.

  • Publication number: 20070070704
Abstract: A page mode program sequence is described that includes first and second bias applying cycles. In the first cycle, a program bias is applied to a first part of a page of memory cells, while a program verify bias is applied to, and data is sensed from, a second part of the page. In this manner, a first part of the page is programmed, while a second part of the page is verified. This operation is followed by a second bias applying cycle, in which a program bias is applied to the second part of the page, while a program verify bias is applied to, and data is sensed from, the first part of the page.
