Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device for ultrasonic sensing, which includes a driver circuit configured to generate an ultrasonic signal, a piezoelectric element having a first electrode and a second electrode, a blocking transistor configured to connect the piezoelectric element with the second electrode to a fixed bias voltage, and a source rectifier including a gate, a drain, and a source electrically connected to the piezoelectric element and the blocking transistor. The piezoelectric element is coupled with the driver circuit with the first electrode. The blocking transistor includes a gate for receiving a blocking control signal, a drain electrically connected to the second electrode of the piezoelectric element, and a source electrically connected to the fixed bias voltage, wherein, in response to the blocking signal, the blocking transistor is configured to be turned on within a transmission period and to be turned off within a receiving period.

Abstract: Wreath is a popular home decoration or event decorations; especially during holiday season and memorial services. Traditional wreath is made of fresh flower and plant branches. Some of the modern wreath is made of plastic flower and plant branch. Some wreath even is equipped with lights for enhancing its beauty. These lights are powered by batteries or plugged into the home outlets. The connection of the power cable and the life span of the battery lift have hindered the operation of these wreaths.

The method comprises receiving a message from a first station; determining whether the message requires clearance from a second station; displaying clearance intended message determined to require clearance from the second station to a consumer of the message; automatically translating the clearance intended message to a format understood by the second station; and routing the translated message to the second station upon selection of the clearance intended message by the consumer of the message.

The two first elastomers surround and fetter where the wearer's pelvis and the wearer's waist meet. In the method, workload information associated with a set of application server instances running in a first computing system is obtained by a server controller in response to a scaling request for changing the number of instances in the set of application server instances from a request controller. The set of application server instances serves at least one application running in a second computing system. A scaling decision indicating whether to change the number of instances in the set of application server instances is determined by a predictor based on the workload information from the server controller. The second computing system is enabled by the request controller to handle requests associated with the at least one application for the set of application server instances based on the scaling decision.

The method for controlling the flexible excitation system includes: realizing the internal fault-tolerant operation control of the flexible excitation power units by cooperatively controlling AC circuit breakers and DC circuit breakers of the flexible excitation power units and a deexcitation switch; dynamically controlling ceiling voltage when terminal voltage drops by using the fast response control ability of the flexible excitation system, so as to improve the forced excitation output capacity of the self-shunt excitation system.
