  • Publication number: 20100215359
Abstract: An optical transceiver includes an electric terminal that can receive power from a host equipment and provide a power supply voltage to the optical transceiver, and a power failure monitor circuit that can detect an imminent loss of the power supply voltage. The power failure monitor circuit can produce a dying-gasp control signal when such imminent loss of power supply voltage is detected or when a disabling control signal is received from the host equipment. A driver can receive the dying-gasp control signal. An optical transmitter is powered by the power supply voltage and can emit a first optical signal under the control of the driver. The driver can modulate an envelope of the first optical signal in response to the dying-gasp control signal to produce a modulated envelope comprising a first dying gasp signal.

  • Patent number: 7749760
Abstract: A V?9V?2 T cell proliferation agent includes at least a bisphosphonate, interleukin 2, and interleukin 18. Since IL-18 has properties that improve cell viability by inhibiting cell death, IL-18 is presumably capable of acting as a cofactor for the bisphosphonate so as to significantly increase the effect of V?9V?2 T cell proliferation by the bisphosphonate and the IL-2. This allows providing a V?9V?2 T cell proliferation agent capable of growing V?9V?2 T cells with a proliferated efficiency significantly high compared to conventional methods so that the proliferated V?9V?2 T cells have a high antitumor activity and high cytokine productivity.

  • Publication number: 20100157259
Abstract: An automatic dust-removing filmscanner comprises a scanner body, a film holder and a dust-removing element. The scanner body has a film-scanning platform and an image-capture module thereinside and has a slot on the surface thereof. The dust-removing element is installed in the film holder. When the film holder is inserted into the slot to locate the film over the film-scanning platform and enable the image-capture module to retrieve the image data recorded on the films, the dust-removing elements on the film holder simultaneously cleans the film-scanning platform. Therefore, the automatic dust-removing filmscanner not only retrieves image data but also automatically cleans the film-scanning platform at the same time without dismantling the scanner body to maintain the scanning quality.
