    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an expanded coating, a preparation method and use thereof, and a permanent magnet comprising same. The expanded coating described herein comprises pores and a filler resin arranged among the pores; the pores comprise at least a spheroid pore having a cross section with a long diameter and a short diameter; in the cross section of the expanded coating, the area of the spheroid pores accounts for 50%-60% of the cross-sectional area of the expanded coating. The permanent magnet of the present disclosure comprises the expanded coating. The expanded coating has high strength and can exhibit excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance at high temperatures (such as 170° C.), with a shear strength greater than 2 MPa, a tensile strength greater than 2 MPa, an oil resistance greater than 1800 h and a neutral salt spray performance greater than 288 h at 170° C.

    Abstract: A high-brightness liquid crystal display device includes a display module; a temperature controller abutting a back surface of the display module, a first ventilation channel being formed in the temperature controller; and fans disposed on the display module in correspondence to the first ventilation channel of the temperature controller. The fans form an airflow that flows through the first ventilation channel, to adjust the temperature of the display module. According to the present invention, the temperature controller abuts the back surface of the display module to implement temperature control on the back surface of the display module. The back surface of the display module is a lamp panel, and the temperature controller abuts the lamp panel. The airflow formed by the fans quickly reduces and increases the temperature of the lamp panel, thereby ensuring that the lamp panel works at an appropriate environmental temperature.

According to the present disclosure, the tubular material with bioactivity and excellent mechanical properties can be prepared from the synthetic polymer and the natural material extracellular matrix through compounding; the synthetic polymer fibers with controllable fiber angle and diameter serve as the internal skeleton of the tubular material, and accordingly the tubular material has the mechanical properties of resistance to bending and squeezing.

    Abstract: A memory apparatus and a data rearrangement method for computing in memory (CIM) are provided. The method includes determining whether first sequence data has two target bits that are both of a first value, inserting a non-target bit of a second value between the two target bits that are both of the first value and adjacent to each other to generate second sequence data, and receiving the second sequence data through memory cells in a memory to perform a multiply-accumulate (MAC) operation on the second sequence data. Each bit in the first sequence data is the first value or the second value. One of the two target bits is located adjacent to the other one of the two target bits in the first sequence data. The two target bits and the non-target bit are located in the first sequence data. Accordingly, the error rate is decreased.

    Abstract: A data processing circuit and a fault-mitigating method are provided. A first data is written into a memory. A computed result is determined according to one or more adjacent bits of the first data at faulty bits. According to the computed result, new values are determined. The new values replace the values of the first data at the faulty bits to form a second data. The first data includes multiple bits. The first data is image-related data, weights used by a multiply-accumulate (MAC) for extracting features of images, and/or values used by an activation calculation. The adjacent bits are adjacent to the faulty bits. The computed result is obtained through computing the values of the first data at non-faulty bits of the memory. Accordingly, an influence of a memory fault is reduced.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to quantitatively tracking food intake using smart glasses and/or other wearable devices. In some implementations, the smart glasses can include an image capture device, such as a camera, that can seamlessly capture images of food being eaten by the user. A computing device in communication with the smart glasses (or the smart glasses themselves) can identify the type and volume of food being eaten by applying object recognition and volume estimation techniques to the images. Additionally or alternatively, the smart glasses and/or other wearable devices can track a user's eating patterns through the number of bites taken throughout the day by capturing and analyzing hand-to-mouth motions and chewing. The computing device can log the type of food, volume of food, and/or number of bites taken and compute statistics that can be displayed to the user on the smart glasses.

An error between an output value of one or more computing layers of a neural network and a corresponding corrected value is determined. The computation of the computing layers is achieved by the analog circuit. A calibration node is generated according to the error. The calibration node is located at the next layer of the computing layers. The calibration node is used to minimize the error. The calibration node is achieved by a digital circuit. Accordingly, error and distortion of the analog circuit could be reduced.

A mobile device may receive location information from one or more sources. Based thereon, the current location of the mobile device may be determined in terms of latitude and longitude. The indication of the current location may be converted to an index value according to a Hilbert curve (or other space-filling curve), and the index value applied to a time zone index file to determine the local time zone. A time zone setting of the mobile device may be updated accordingly. Furthermore, “geofencing” may be used by the mobile device to detect movement towards and through a time zone boundary, leading to a new time zone determination being initiated.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to an apparatus and methods for applying X-ray reflectometry (XRR) in characterizing three dimensional nanostructures supported on a flat substrate with a miniscule sampling area and a thickness in nanometers. In particular, this disclosure is targeted for addressing the difficulties encountered when XRR is applied to samples with intricate nanostructures along all three directions, e.g. arrays of nanostructured poles or shafts. Convergent X-ray with long wavelength, greater than that from a copper anode of 0.154 nm and less than twice of the characteristic dimensions along the film thickness direction, is preferably used with appropriate collimations on both incident and detection arms to enable the XRR for measurements of samples with limited sample area and scattering volumes. In one embodiment, the incident angle of the long-wavelength focused X-ray is ?24°, and the sample area is ?25 ?m×25 ?m.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a preparation method and application of decellularized extracellular matrix tissue paper, and belongs to the technical field of regenerative medicine. The preparation method includes the following steps: (1) preparing decellularized extracellular matrix materials; (2) preparing tissue paper: homogenizing and stirring the prepared decellularized extracellular matrix materials, then, placing the obtained homogenates on a flat-bottom filter screen to filter out water, standing and air-drying the filtered homogenates, and freeze-drying the homogenates to obtain the tissue paper; (3) cross-linking the tissue paper: cross-linking the tissue paper in a cross-linking solution; and (4) freeze-drying or stacking and compacting the cross-linked tissue paper. According to the present disclosure, the decellularized extracellular matrix tissue paper with tissue specificity is prepared by a traditional paper-making technology combined with a freeze-drying technology.
