  • Publication number: 20160258431
Abstract: An improved motor includes a cylinder defining multiple exit holes of different diameters, which are respectively controlled by a resilient sheet having multiple branches to communicate with an air storage container. In operation, when a piston body conducts reciprocating motion in the cylinder, the compressed air produced in the cylinder can quickly enter the air storage container. The branches of the resilient sheet are subjected to different back force resulting from the compressed air in the air storage container, wherein the smallest branch of the resilient sheet is subjected to a smallest back force, so that the compressed air produced in the cylinder can enter the air storage container more easily through the smallest exit hole, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160238030
Abstract: A motor includes a cylindrical housing, a cooling fan, and a rotating shaft. The cylindrical housing defines at least one upstream through hole at its circumferential wall. The cooling fan is mounted at the rotating shaft for generating airflow towards the cylindrical housing for dissipating the heat generated in the motor. The hollow hood is mounted to the cylindrical housing such that a head portion is located above the upstream through hole, thus defining an annular air-guiding channel therebetween, which can receive the airflow generated by the cooling fan and guide the airflow to enter the cylindrical housing via the upstream through holes, so that the heat generated therein can be dissipated effectively. Thus, heat is not easy to accumulate in the motor, and the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160237996
Abstract: An improved air compressor includes a cylinder that is fitted with a piston body and defines at its top wall a plurality of exit holes having different diameters and communicating between the cylinder and an air storage container. The exit holes are sealed by plugs and compression springs. The exit holes allow the compressed air produced in the cylinder to enter the air storage container more quickly. When the piston body approaches the top wall of the cylinder, one exit hole, with a smaller diameter, allows the compressed air to enter the air storage container more easily. The exit holes with different diameters allow the piston body to move in the cylinder more smoothly, and thus the efficiency of inflating an object can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160208789
Abstract: An inflator having an enhanced cooling effect on its motor is disclosed, which includes a box composed a cover and a base, and a compressor unit installed in the box. The box is provided with airflow-guiding members cooperated with a cooling fan fitted at a rotating shaft of a motor used in the compressor unit to allow outside air to be quickly drawn into the interior of the box. Thereafter, the airflow can be guided by the airflow-guiding members to enter the interior of the motor to dissipate the heat generated by the rotor assembly in the motor and finally go out of the box. Therefore, heat is not easy to accumulate in the motor, so that maximum power output of the motor can be achieved, and the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160201690
Abstract: A motor includes a substantially cylindrical housing, a rotor assembly, a cover, a sleeve, and a cooling fan. The cooling fan is installed at one end of a rotating shaft of the rotor assembly to induce airflow. The sleeve, being closely fitted around the housing, is integrally formed with a plurality of wind-caching projections, each of which is located above one upstream through hole defined on the housing and faces towards the cooling fan. The wind-catching projections can receive the airflow induced by the cooling fan and guides the airflow to enter the housing via the upstream through holes to dissipate the heat accumulated in the motor, so that the motor can be prevented from damages due to heat accumulation. Therefore, the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160102661
Abstract: An improved air compressor includes a cylinder with a piston body and an air storage container. The air storage container can be detachably mounted to the cylinder to define a primary air chamber, and an auxiliary air chamber which can reduce the motion resistance of the piston body, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion in the cylinder more smoothly. Furthermore, the cylinder has an open bottom that is divided into two halves according to a central vertical line (Y) of the cylinder, wherein one half of the open bottom is horizontal while the other half of the open bottom is slanted. When the piston body reaches the bottom dead center, the head of the piston body will be entirely within the cylinder and thus keep air-tight with the cylinder. Therefore, the performance of compressing air and the operational safety can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160097383
Abstract: An improved air compressor includes a cylinder fitted with a piston body and an air storage container. The cylinder and the air storage container are detachably assembled to define an air chamber. A metal seat with a through hole is provided on top of the cylinder. A valve plug is spring-biased against the metal seat. The air storage container is provided with a pressure indicator, which includes a tube defining therein a first bore and a second bore, between which a tapered annular surface is formed. When the air pressure within the air storage container exceeds a predetermined pressure set for the air compressor, the pressure indicator allows excess air to flow into the first bore of the tube and sequentially pass through the tapered annular surface and an elongated opening to be released to the ambient environment, so that objects can be prevented from damages due to excessive inflations.

  • Publication number: 20160076963
Abstract: A pressure indicator, which can be detachably connected to an air compressor for measuring the pressure of compressed air produced in the air compressor, includes a tube and a slider. The slider can be moved along a first bore and a second bore of the tube. The motion of the slider in the tube is similar to the motion of a piston body in a cylinder. Abstract: A pen-type pressure indicator, which can be detachably connected to an air compressor for measuring the pressure of compressed air produced in the air compressor, includes a transparent tube and a slider. The slider can be moved along a first bore and a second bore of the transparent tube. The motion of the slider in the transparent tube is similar to the motion of a piston in a cylinder. • Publication number: 20160076957
Abstract: A pressure indicator with a pressure-relief function is disclosed, which can release excessive pressure to the environment. The pressure indicator includes a transparent tube defining therein a first bore and a second bore, and a slider which can be forced by the medium supplied from an external pressure source to move along the first and second bores of the transparent tube. In particular, the first bore has a diameter greater than the second bore, and a tapered annular surface is provided between the first bore and the second bore of the transparent tube. When the pressure of the medium exceeds a predetermined pressure, the slider can be forced by the medium to reach the tapered annular surface, at which excessive medium can be released into the environment via an annular gap between the slider and the tapered annular surface.
