  • Publication number: 20170098981
Abstract: A motor generally includes a housing, a cover, and a cooling fan. The cover is provided with multiple air guiding fins and defines multiple first inlet holes corresponding to the air guiding fins for collecting some of the air current generated by the cooling fan. Furthermore, the cover is provided with multiple wind-catching projections. The housing defines multiple second inlet holes near its opening The cover is installed to the housing such that the wind-catching projections are respectively located above the second inlet holes of the housing, so as to collect some of the air current. Furthermore, multiple recesses are defined between the wind-catching projections, so that some of the air current may flow along the outer surface of the housing via the recesses to further cool down the housing.

  • Patent number: 9562821
Abstract: A pressure indicator, which can be detachably connected to an air compressor for measuring the pressure of compressed air produced in the air compressor, includes a tube and a slider. The slider can be moved along a first bore and a second bore of the tube. The motion of the slider in the tube is similar to the motion of a piston body in a cylinder. The tube is provided with a tapered annular surface, between the first bore and the second bore, and defines an elongated opening. In addition, when the pressure of the compressed air exceeds a predetermined pressure, excessive air can be released into the ambient environment, without using a mechanical safety valve, so that an object can be prevented from over-inflation.

  • Publication number: 20170033642
Abstract: An improved motor structure includes a housing and a cooling fan for generating an air current that can quickly enter the housing to dissipate heat therein. The housing is pressed to form a plurality of intercepting fins and a plurality of inlet holes. The air current can be guided by the intercepting fins so that it can pass through the inlet holes more easily to enter the inner space of the motor's housing to take away the heat generated in the motor, so that heat is not easy to accumulate in the housing of the motor, and thus maximum power output of the motor can be achieved. Therefore, the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

  • Patent number: 9550333
Abstract: A sealant dispenser, which can cooperate with an air compressor for repairing punctured tires, is disclosed. The sealant dispenser generally includes a bottle with a top opening being filled with a chemical sealant, a cap mounted over the top opening of the bottle, a control valve for controlling an air passage and a sealant passage defined at the cap, and a rotary handle. In use, the air passage receives compressed air from the air compressor, and the sealant passage is connected to a tire to be repaired. By turning the rotary handle, the air passage and the sealant passage can communicate with the inner space of the bottle, which allows the compressed air to flow into the inner space of the bottle to force the chemical sealant contained therein to flow into the interior of the punctured tire, thus repairing the tire.

  • Patent number: 9545763
Abstract: An emergency repair kit for tire punctures is disclosed, which generally includes a sealant dispenser and a box having a large bottom surface and accommodating therein compressor unit that can supply compressed air into a bottle of the sealant dispenser via an air input connection tube of the sealant dispenser to force the chemical sealant contained in the bottle to flow out of a sealant output connection tube of the sealant dispenser for inflating and repairing a punctured tire. A basket is used to detachably couple the sealant dispenser to the box, so that the sealant dispenser can stand on a surface more firmly. Therefore, the sealant dispenser can be prevent from displacement or overturn due to vibrations, so that the emergency repair kit can be operated more safely and conveniently.

  • Publication number: 20170012499
Abstract: A motor includes a housing, a front cover, a rotating shaft, and a cooling fan. The front cover is provided with multiple air guiding fins and defines multiple inlet holes. The housing defines at least one communication hole at its surrounding wall. In use, a central portion of the air current generated by the cooling fan can be guided by the air guiding fins to pass through the inlet holes to enter the motor's housing. An outer portion of the air current can flow along the outer surface of the housing. The way of dissipating heat through multiple paths allows the heat generated in the motor to be dissipated more effectively, so that heat is not easy to accumulate in the motor, and thus the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160258431
Abstract: An improved motor includes a cylinder defining multiple exit holes of different diameters, which are respectively controlled by a resilient sheet having multiple branches to communicate with an air storage container. In operation, when a piston body conducts reciprocating motion in the cylinder, the compressed air produced in the cylinder can quickly enter the air storage container. The branches of the resilient sheet are subjected to different back force resulting from the compressed air in the air storage container, wherein the smallest branch of the resilient sheet is subjected to a smallest back force, so that the compressed air produced in the cylinder can enter the air storage container more easily through the smallest exit hole, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160237996
Abstract: An improved air compressor includes a cylinder that is fitted with a piston body and defines at its top wall a plurality of exit holes having different diameters and communicating between the cylinder and an air storage container. The exit holes are sealed by plugs and compression springs. The exit holes allow the compressed air produced in the cylinder to enter the air storage container more quickly. When the piston body approaches the top wall of the cylinder, one exit hole, with a smaller diameter, allows the compressed air to enter the air storage container more easily. The exit holes with different diameters allow the piston body to move in the cylinder more smoothly, and thus the efficiency of inflating an object can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160238030
Abstract: A motor includes a cylindrical housing, a cooling fan, and a rotating shaft. The cylindrical housing defines at least one upstream through hole at its circumferential wall. The cooling fan is mounted at the rotating shaft for generating airflow towards the cylindrical housing for dissipating the heat generated in the motor. The hollow hood is mounted to the cylindrical housing such that a head portion is located above the upstream through hole, thus defining an annular air-guiding channel therebetween, which can receive the airflow generated by the cooling fan and guide the airflow to enter the cylindrical housing via the upstream through holes, so that the heat generated therein can be dissipated effectively. Thus, heat is not easy to accumulate in the motor, and the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20160201690
Abstract: A motor includes a substantially cylindrical housing, a rotor assembly, a cover, a sleeve, and a cooling fan. The cooling fan is installed at one end of a rotating shaft of the rotor assembly to induce airflow. The sleeve, being closely fitted around the housing, is integrally formed with a plurality of wind-caching projections, each of which is located above one upstream through hole defined on the housing and faces towards the cooling fan. The wind-catching projections can receive the airflow induced by the cooling fan and guides the airflow to enter the housing via the upstream through holes to dissipate the heat accumulated in the motor, so that the motor can be prevented from damages due to heat accumulation.
