  • Publication number: 20190026429
Abstract: Systems, platforms, methods and media for providing genomic services are disclosed. In one example, a genomic services platform comprises a network interface through which genomic sequence reads derived from a biological sample obtained from a user are received. The platform also includes a bioinformatics processing pipeline that includes a read alignment module configured to receive a genomics file from genomic sequencing equipment and use data contained therein to generate observed sequence data by aligning the sequence reads relative to a reference sequence. A variant calling module identifies observed variants in the observed sequence data and stores the observed variants in a variant calling file. A variant refinement module produces genotype data including a set of refined variants associated with the user, and a variant imputation module produces a set of imputed variants associated with the user.

  • Patent number: 10185926
Abstract: A system for component based aggregation of medication orders may include a processor and memory. The processor may receive display a queue that lists medication orders to be prepared by a healthcare professional, the medication orders indicating component medications that will be used to prepare the ordered medications. The processor may receive a selection of a first medication order listed in the queue, where the first medication order indicates a first component medication. The processor may determine a second medication order listed in the queue that indicates the first component medication. The processor may reorder the displayed queue such that the second medication order is listed adjacent to the first medication order. The processor may notify the healthcare professional of the second medication order, such as by displaying an indication of the second medication order separately from the queue.

  • Patent number: 10184713
Abstract: An enclosure includes an enclosure interior and an enclosure opening through which air passes from outside the enclosure into the enclosure interior. An evaporator located at the enclosure interior is positioned so that at least some of the air that passes through the enclosure opening flows in a direct and uninterrupted path to the evaporator. A shield within the enclosure interior is interposed between the enclosure opening and the evaporator and is positioned so as to deflect at least a part of the air flowing from that direct and uninterrupted path. The shield provides a site at which moisture contained within at least some of the air passing through the enclosure opening can collect. The enclosure can comprise the freezer compartment of a refrigerator, and the enclosure opening can be in fluid communication with an interior of a fresh food compartment of the refrigerator.
