  • Patent number: 9674581
Abstract: A processing resource detects that a subscriber entity subscribes to at least a first content service provider and a second content service provider. The processing resource receives a first message indicating content available to the subscriber entity for selective retrieval from the first content service provider. The processing resource receives a second message indicating content available to the subscriber entity for selective retrieval from the second content service provider. Based on at least the first message and the second message, the processing resource produces a content guide to include at least first content available to the subscriber entity for retrieval from the first service provider and second content available to the subscriber entity for retrieval from the second service provider. Via display of the content guide, a respective subscriber is able to view content available from multiple service providers.

  • Publication number: 20170140476
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes a server that hosts webpages facilitating user interaction between multiple endpoints. The system monitors for a user input requesting initiation of a happy hour, and when the input is detected, modifies the webpages to alert users of the happy hour. The users are notified of which user initiated the happy hour, and are also notified that interaction incentives accumulate at an increased rate during the happy hour. The system also tracks user scorings that accumulate based on the user interaction, and enables certain website features based on these user scorings. The system also tracks ratings for user-uploaded objects and identifies top rated objects for displaying on webpages viewable by other users.

  • Patent number: 9649349
Abstract: A system and method of producing a blended extract of cannabinoids and terpenes, which extracts terpenes using supercritical CO2, and extracts a cannabinoid concentrate from the residual material using a cold ethanol flush followed by distillation; the CO2-extracted terpenes are then added back to the cannabinoid concentrate in a final blending step. Blending terpenes at the end of extraction may enhance the flavor and effectiveness of the cannabinoid concentrate. By separately extracting terpenes and cannabinoids, optimal processes and parameters may be used for each step. Blending may combine terpenes and cannabinoids in any desired ratio; for example, a terpene-to-cannabinoid ratio of approximately 1:10 may be used. The ethanol used in the cold ethanol extraction of cannabinoids may be recovered and reused for subsequent batches. Cannabinoid concentrates may be redistilled multiple times to enhance their concentration, followed by terpene blending.

  • Patent number: 9603209
Abstract: Dimming or illumination control of an LED-based lighting fixture can utilize a combination of pulse width modulation and constant current reduction. A light emitting diode driver can implement pulse width modulation to control light over a first light intensity range and constant current reduction over a second light intensity range. The first light intensity range can be less intense than the second light intensity range. Thus, the driver can practice constant current reduction for dimming at higher light intensities and pulse width modulation for dimming at lower light intensities.
