  • Patent number: 10867348
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for bid optimization. A bid test component is configured to receive a notification from a content recommendation auction engine that a user has requested that the bid test component test various bidding parameters for a content scheme used to bid on opportunities to show content to users. Accordingly, a set of test content schemes are created. Varying bid levels, budget allocations, and/or other bidding parameters are set for the test content schemes. The test content schemes are submitted to the content recommendation auction engine for bidding on opportunities to show content. Test content scheme statistics, regarding the performance of the test content schemes, are collected. Recommendations are providing and automated content scheme management is facilitated based upon the test content scheme statistics.

At least one of a short-acting subcutaneous insulin dosage recommendation, a correction subcutaneous insulin dosage recommendation, an intravenous insulin dosage recommendation, a recommended amount of carbohydrates to be administered to the patient, or combinations thereof, can be determined. In addition, information indicating a confirmation of a nutrition intake for the patient, and a long-acting insulin-on-board for the patient can be received, and based on this information, a required long-acting subcutaneous or intravenous insulin dosage for the patient can be determined. The short-acting subcutaneous or intravenous insulin dosage recommendation can be adjusted based, at least in part, on a difference between the long-acting insulin-on-board and the required long-acting subcutaneous or intravenous insulin dosage.

  • Publication number: 20200286278
Abstract: A virtual object and a virtual vantage point are included within a three-dimensional space. An exemplary virtual scene capture system generates a key description frame representative of a state of the virtual object and a state of the virtual vantage point at a first point in a temporal sequence. The virtual scene capture system also generates an update description frame that represents the state of the virtual object and not the state of the virtual vantage point at a second point in the temporal sequence. The virtual scene capture system provides the key description frame and the update description frame to a three-dimensional rendering engine server. The rendering engine server is configured to render, based on the key and update description frames, surface data frames depicting the virtual object from the virtual vantage point. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20200265238
Abstract: An exemplary object identification system detects, based on a machine learning model, an object depicted within a video frame. The system identifies, based on the detecting of the object, a class label of the object and a region of interest, within the video frame, of the object. The system identifies, within the region of interest of the object, set of features of the object. The system compares the set of features of the object with a plurality of predefined features within a data store associated with the class label of the object. The system determines, based on the comparing of the set of features of the object with the plurality of predefined features within the data store, whether the object is configured to trigger an augmentation of video content associated with the video frame. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10699471
Abstract: An exemplary virtual scene capture system maintains state data for a virtual object and a virtual vantage point that are both included within a virtual 3D space of a virtual scene. • Publication number: 20200195348
Abstract: Embodiments relate to providing simultaneous digital and analog services in optical fiber-based distributed radio frequency (RF) antenna systems (DASs), and related components and methods. A multiplex switch unit associated with a head-end unit of a DAS can be configured to receive a plurality of analog and digital downlink signals from one or more sources, such as a service matrix unit, and to assign each downlink signal to be transmitted to one or more remote units of the DAS. In one example, when two or more downlink signals are assigned to be transmitted to the same remote unit, a wave division multiplexer/demultiplexer associated with the multiplex switch unit can be configured to wave division multiplex the component downlink signals into a combined downlink signal for remote side transmission and to demultiplex received combined uplink signals into their component uplink signals for head-end side transmission.

  • Patent number: 10636220
Abstract: An exemplary merged reality scene capture system (“system”) generates a transport stream based on video data received from a plurality of capture devices. The transport stream includes a respective video data stream for each capture device, each respective video data stream representing surfaces of a real-world object as the surfaces appear from a vantage point of the capture device. Based on the transport stream, the system generates entity description data representative of the real-world object. The system also generates entity description data representative of a virtual object to be included within a 3D space of a merged reality scene along with the real-world object. Based on the entity description data, the system generates an entity description frame representative of a state of the objects within the 3D space. The system provides the entity description frame to a plurality of 3D rendering engines associated with a content provider system.

  • Publication number: 20200111376
Abstract: Methods and devices for completing a series of tasks using augmented reality (AR) features are described. In the disclosed methods, live video of a tangible target (for example, a human, manikin, animal, plant, or inanimate object), is captured and displayed, one or more graphic indicators specific to a first task are generated (using a processing device) and displayed on the live video. A position of a tangible object (e.g., an instrument controlled by user) relative to a first location on the target is detected and the processing device determines whether the action of the tangible object completes the first task. Once the first task has been determined to be complete, subsequent tasks and associated graphic indicators are generated and displayed to prompt the user to perform additional actions with respect to the target.

  • Patent number: 10608758
Abstract: Simulating sector changes in an application module (AM) in a wireless communications system (WCS) to simulate site walks in the WCS. The AMs are wireless telecommunication circuitry wired or wirelessly associated with wireless communications system components in a WCS. In one embodiment, the AMs are configured to determine signal information (e.g., signal strength, power and/or quality) of live communications signals in a WCS. The measured signal strength values are then artificially changed to simulate a site walk in the WCS. For example, the signal strength of communication signals received by an AM from a particular sector can be artificially lowered so that the signal strength from a neighboring sector located further away from the AM appears to be stronger. In this manner, a site walk of the AM in the sectors in which communications signals are received by the AM in the WCS can be simulated.
