A corresponding coefficient for each of the plurality of filtering modes may be generated based on the determined similarity levels. Abstract: Aspects of a method and system for an advanced motion detection and decision mechanism for a comb filter in an analog video decoder are provided. A spatial luma component and a spatial chroma component of a current pixel of a composite video baseband signal may be determined by a spatial comb filter. A temporal luma component and a temporal chroma component of the current pixel of the composite video baseband signal may be determined by one or more temporal comb filters. A motion level of the current pixel may be generated based on one or more video characteristics. A luma component and a chroma component of the current pixel of the composite video baseband signal may be generated based on the generated motion level and determined spatial luma component, spatial chroma component, temporal luma component, and temporal chroma component of the current pixel of the composite video baseband signal.

Abstract: A dongle for coupling a signal source device and a signal sink device is disclosed. The dongle includes an interface receptacle, a display port interface plug, a repeater, a low-dropout regulator and an impedance unit. The interface receptacle is a DVI receptacle or a HDMI receptacle. The repeater is electrically connected between the interface receptacle and the display port interface plug to enhance signals. The low-dropout regulator includes a power input end and a power output end. The power input end is electrically connected to the interface receptacle, and the power output end is electrically connected to the display port interface plug. The impedance unit is electrically connected between the power output end of the low-dropout regulator and the interface receptacle. The signal source device may output the display port signal needed by the signal sink device according to the function of the dongle.

The image sharing client application is to be executed on one or more of the processors to receive an update to an image being shared over a network with mobile electronic devices that each have their own current zoom level and their own currently visible area of the image. The image distribution application is to be executed on one or more of the processors to keep a record of the current zoom level and currently visible area for each of the plurality of mobile electronic devices and to selectively send image updates to the plurality of mobile electronic devices based on the current zoom level and currently viewable area of the mobile electronic devices.

Abstract: An arrangement on a mobile computing device wherein actual motion of the device can be employed to control, among other things, the panning, zooming, paging and scrolling of a graphic user interface. The user would need only use only one hand to hold the device and simultaneously undertake the aforementioned functions, e.g., by moving or gesturing with the device to perform pan, zoom, page and/or scroll functions on an image or document currently displayed on the device. Thus, the screen wouldn't necessarily need to be a touch screen, and the user wouldn't necessarily need to ever touch the screen.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide adaptive viewing of a page on mobile electronic devices with a small screen size and/or limited connectivity. Embodiments of the invention enable a user to more easily and quickly download and view a page on a small display screen, such as a display screen of a mobile electronic device. Embodiments of the invention determine an initial portion of a page for download and transmission as well as a sequential order of page portions for subsequent download and transmission to a mobile electronic device.

Abstract: Provided is a Balanced Score-Card system, and a method for establishing the same. The balanced Score-Card particularly includes an item-setting module, a SWOT-matrix module, a SWOT overall-objective setting module, an overall-objective setting module, a causality setting module, and a strategic-map module. The SWOT overall-objective setting module is set via a SWOT-matrix module with reversible and recording mechanism. Therefore, a user may obtain a logic relation between a strategic objective and a strategic condition through this SWOT-matrix module, and also understand the importance of every strategic condition. Further, the strategic condition can be examined whether it has error. Consequently a more accurate Balanced Score-Card system can be established.

Data may be written to, and received from, packaged chips when a chip is activated. Chips may be activated by applying the appropriate signal or signals to the appropriate contact or contacts.

Abstract: A software system is provided to allow a computer to install and process web applications according to the invention. Such web applications are written as web pages that have access to the full range of operating system resources, including those not accessible through a web browser. Preferably, a web application is built using three types of languages used for constructing web pages, namely: (a) a visual presentation language; (2) a data modeling language; and (3) a scripting language for embedding logic. The software system preferably comprises a web application manager, an operating system interface module, a scripting language interpreter, and optionally a web browser and/or a data modeling language processor. Various other features such as data caching and security filtering are provided in accordance with such a system.

Abstract: The cross-sectional area of a thin-film transistor (TFT) is decreased in order to minimize bitline to supply leakage of the TFT. This is accomplished by utilizing a spacer etch process to manufacture a TFT having a very narrow and thin channel in a controllable manner. The spacer dimensions of the TFT may be adjusted by simply modifying the thicknesses of the poly gate and the channel poly. The channel thickness is limited by the thickness of the deposited channel polysilicon which may be as thin as approximately 300 ? to 500 ?, and the channel width of the TFT corresponds to the height of the spacer etched along the polysilicon gate of the device which may be as small as approximately 0.15 to 0.25 ?m.
