  • Publication number: 20240109560
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus related to cruise control for a vehicle. In one approach, speed for a first vehicle is controlled in a first mode using data from sensors. The speed is controlled while keeping at least a minimum distance from a second vehicle being followed by the first vehicle. In response to determining that data from the sensors is not usable to control the first vehicle (e.g., the data cannot be used to measure the minimum distance), the first vehicle changes from the first mode to a second mode. In the second mode, the first vehicle maintains a constant speed and/or obtains additional data from sensors and/or computing devices located externally to the first vehicle. In another approach, the additional data can additionally or alternatively be obtained from a mobile device of a passenger of the first vehicle. The additional data is used to maintain a safe minimum distance from the second vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240104948
Abstract: Systems and methods relate to processing digital pathology images. More specifically, techniques include accessing a digital pathology image that depicts a section of a biological sample, wherein the digital pathology image comprises regions displaying reactivity to a plurality of stains. For each of a plurality of tiles of the digital pathology image, a local-density measurement is calculated for each of a plurality of biological object types. One or more spatial-distribution metrics may be generated for the biological object types based at least in part on the calculated local-density measurements. A tumor immunophenotype may then be generated for the digital pathology image based at least in part on the local-density measurements or the one or more spatial-distribution metrics.

  • Publication number: 20240091366
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of pharmaceutical and chemical engineering, and specifically relates to a weakly acidic microenvironment-sensitive aptamer for tumors, a triptolide conjugate. The conjugate is formed by conjugation between the 14-position hydroxyl group of triptolide and the aptamer via an acetal ester linking bond, which is an acid-sensitive linking bond with a cleavage condition of (pH=3.5-6.5), which is much less pH-sensitive and is more likely to cleave under the tumor microenvironment. Based on the characteristics of the aptamer targeting the highly expressed proteins on the membrane surface of tumor cells, the conjugate delivered triptolide targeted to tumor cells and mediated endocytosis to reach the lysosome; based on the characteristics of the acidic environment of lysosomes, the acetal ester linking bond released intact triptolide in the lysosomal acidic environment, targeting and killing of tumor cells.

  • Publication number: 20240096483
Abstract: An adaptive control method and system for an upper limb rehabilitation robot based on a game theory and surface Electromyography (sEMG) is disclosed. A movement trajectory that a robot is controlled to run within a training time is designed during subject operation. An sEMG-based Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) muscle force estimation model establishes a nonlinear dynamic relationship between an sEMG signal and end force by constructing a three-layer neural network. A human-computer interaction system is analyzed by the game theory principle, and a role of the robot is deduced. The control rate between the robot and a subject is updated by Nash equilibrium, and adaptive weight factors of the robot and the subject are determined. The robot adaptively adjusts the training mode thereof according to a movement intention of the subject during operation and a weight coefficient obtained by the game theory principle.

  • Publication number: 20240087726
Abstract: A method includes accessing a digital pathology image that depicts tumor cells sampled from a subject. A plurality of patches may be selected from the digital pathology image, wherein each of the patches depicts tumor cells. Based on the plurality of mutation predictions, a prognostic prediction related to one or more treatment regimens for the subject may be generated. The prognostic prediction may be based on determining one or more mutational contexts of the digital pathology image as an unknown driver or a tumor suppressor, an oncogene driver mutation, or a gene fusion.

  • Publication number: 20240079138
Abstract: Systems and methods relate to predicting disease progression by processing digital pathology images using neural networks. A digital pathology image that depicts a specimen stained with one or more stains is accessed. The specimen may have been collected from a subject. A set of patches are defined for the digital pathology image. Each patch of the set of patches depicts a portion of the digital pathology image. For each patch of the set of patches and using an attention-score neural network, an attention score is generated. The attention-score neural network may have been trained using a loss function that penalized attention-score variability across patches in training digital pathology images labeled to indicate no or low subsequent disease progression. Using a result-prediction neural network and the attention scores, a result is generated that represents a prediction of whether or an extent to which a disease of the subject will progress.

  • Patent number: 11899338
Abstract: A nonlinear crystal including stacked strontium tetraborate SrB4O7 (SBO) crystal plates that are cooperatively configured to create a periodic structure for quasi-phase-matching (QPM) is used in the final frequency doubling stage of a laser assembly to generate laser output light having a wavelength in the range of about 180 nm to 200 nm. One or more fundamental laser beams are frequency doubled, down-converted and/or summed using one or more frequency conversion stages to generate an intermediate frequency light with a corresponding wavelength in the range of about 360 nm to 400 nm, and then the final frequency converting stage utilizes the nonlinear crystal to double the frequency of the intermediate frequency light to generate the desired laser output light at high power. Methods, inspection systems, lithography systems and cutting systems incorporating the laser assembly are also described.
