    Abstract: A space debris observation method based on alternating exposure times of a charge coupled device (CCD) camera is provided. The present disclosure controls the CCD camera to acquire consecutively and alternately short-exposure and long-exposure images based on preset exposure times. The present disclosure realizes detection and astronomical positioning of low-orbit, medium-orbit and high-orbit space debris by processing short-exposure images of odd-numbered frames. The present disclosure realizes detection of medium-orbit and high-orbit space debris by processing long-exposure images of even-numbered frames, and realizes astronomical positioning of the medium-orbit and high-orbit space debris detected in a current frame through plate constant model coefficients of adjacent odd-numbered frames.

    Abstract: The present invention is related to the field of gene editing. In particular, the gene editing is directed toward single nucleotide base editing. For example, such single nucleotide base editing results in a conversion of a OG base pair to a T*A base pair. The high accuracy and precision of the presently disclosed single nucleotide base gene editor is accomplished by an NmeCas9 nuclease that is fused to a nucleotide deaminase protein. The compact nature of the NmeCas9 coupled with a larger number of compatible protospacer adjacent motifs provide the Cas9 fusion constructs contemplated herein to have a gene editing window that can edit sites that are not targetable by other conventional SpyCas9 base editor platforms.

The apparatus may align positions of the fiducial markers on the two or more micrographs forming a two or more point sets corresponding to the two or more micrographs; create a first set of matched fiducial markers and unmatched fiducial markers; transform unmatched fiducial markers into transformed point sets and match the unmatched fiducial markers resulting in a second set of matched fiducial markers. The matching of the second set of matched fiducial markers results in improved alignment of a large number of fiducial markers. The aligned positions of fiducial markers may be constrained by an upper bound of transformation deviation of aligning positions of fiducial markers on two or more micrographs.
