    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to robotic devices and artificial intelligence. More specifically, some embodiments relate to a robotic device for picking items from a bin and perturbing items in a bin. The robotic device may include one or more picking elements and one or more perturbation elements for disturbing a present arrangement of items in the bin. In an exemplary embodiment, a perturbation element comprises a compressed air valve. In some implementations, the robotic device may also include one or more computer-vision systems. Based on image data from the one or more computer-vision systems, a strategy for picking up items from the bin is determined. When no strategies with high probability of success exist, the robotic device may perturb the contents of the bin to create new available pick-up points.

    Abstract: Provided is a process for hydrocracking normal paraffins into lighter normal paraffins with minimal formation of iso-paraffins. The process comprises hydrocracking a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising normal paraffins under hydrocracking conditions. The reaction is run in the presence of a specific type of zeolite based catalyst which has been found to provide high conversion with minimal iso-paraffin products. In one embodiment, the zeolite is of the framework PWO. The reaction conducted in the presence of the zeolite based catalyst produces an n-paraffin rich product that needs no separation step before being fed to a steam cracker to produce lower olefins.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a genomic selection (GS) breeding chip of Huaxi cattle and use thereof, and relates to the technical field of molecular breeding. The present disclosure provides a molecular marker combination for whole-genome genotyping of Huaxi cattle, where a genotyping object involves 112,177 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and 3 Indels, including seven marker panels in total. In the present disclosure, a genome-wide breeding chip constructed with the molecular marker combination has functional relevance, pertinence and effectiveness, innovation, comprehensiveness, practicality, and cost-effectiveness. This breeding chip also shows uniform distribution of chromosomes in the whole-genome, high coverage, and moderate throughput of markers. This breeding chip has desirable compatibility with existing commercial chips and high cost performance.

Control logic coupled with unselected sub-block is to: cause the SGD/SGS transistors to turn on while ramping the wordlines from a ground voltage to a pass voltage associated with unselected wordlines in preparation for read operation; cause, while ramping the wordlines, the channel to be pre-charged by ramping voltages on the bit line and the source voltage line to a target voltage that is greater than a source read voltage level; and in response to wordlines reaching the pass voltage, causing the SGD and SGS transistors to be turned off, to leave the channel pre-charged to the target voltage during the read operation.
