  • Patent number: 8599168
Abstract: A touch detection method for capacitive touch panels includes the steps of scanning the rows and columns of the capacitive matrix of a touch panel respectively; obtaining the capacitance differential value; processing the obtained capacitance differential value; and determining whether there is a touch on the touch panel in response to the processed capacitance differential value. The capacitance differential value is obtained by one of the steps of synchronously scanning two rows at the same time; synchronously scanning two columns at the same time; scanning one row to obtain the capacitance differential value between the row and a reference capacitance; and scanning one column to obtain the capacitance differential value between the column and a reference capacitance. The present invention creates conditions for the elimination of common code interferences and greatly improves the interference resistance of a capacitive touch panel.

  • Publication number: 20130099529
Abstract: A cooling pad includes a bottom section, a top section, and a middle section which together form a contoured surface to support a person's back. The contoured surface includes concave and convex sections, providing ventilated pockets which allow air to flow to a person's back. Inside the middle section there are intake holes, located on either side of the cooling pad, and exhaust holes, positioned atop and below the middle section. The intake holes allow air to be brought in from outside, while the exhaust holes direct air to cool a person's back. Fan and power systems are stored inside the middle section. The fan blows air through the exhaust holes. The system as a whole is designed to utilize negative pressure to bring fresh air in from the intakes, replacing the air the fan pushes through the exhaust holes. The resulting airflow prevents back sweat from occurring.

  • Patent number: 8103951
Abstract: In a database application executing on a computer system, a database table view is represented by a structured object located on a storage device coupled to the computer system. Responsive to a user pasting content (e.g., spreadsheet data) onto the view of the table, the database application determines if the content to be pasted extends beyond the number of rows (records in a database) or columns (database fields) currently displayed in the table view. If the content extends beyond the number of rows or columns currently displayed, the database application automatically adds one or more records or fields to the structured object on the storage device, and updates the table view to display one or more rows or columns corresponding to the records or fields added to the structured object.

  • Publication number: 20110221701
Abstract: This invention discloses a multi-touch detection method for capacitive touch screens, which includes the following steps: conducting scan detection of capacitance of the rows and columns of a touch screen matrix to respectively acquire the capacitance data of the rows and columns of the touch screen matrix; acquiring an initial capacitance threshold value and calculating capacitance value of each row and each column by subtracting the initial capacitance threshold value from the capacitance data of each row and each column respectively; judging whether a curved section with a capacitance value of more than zero exists in the calculated capacitance value curve of the rows and columns; if so, the gravity center point of each curved section with a calculated capacitance value of more than zero is taken as the contact point coordinate corresponding to the curved section; if not, no touch is made; and the column coordinate and the row coordinate of each contact point is sent to a processor for processing.
