  • Patent number: 7370559
Abstract: A pneumatically operated screw driver ensuring a complete return of a piston to its top dead center. The screw driver has a compressed air return chamber for returning the piston to its top dead center by applying a compressed air in the return chamber to the piston. The piston includes a main piston and an auxiliary piston. The main piston is first reaches its bottom dead center, and then the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center whereupon screw driving is terminated. Before the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center, and after the main piston moves past a predetermined position, a compressed air is introduced into the return chamber. After the main piston reaches the bottom dead center, application of the compressed air pressure in the return chamber to the auxiliary piston is prevented.

  • Patent number: 7348693
Abstract: In a vibration wave linear motor, a coupled driving contacting parts are respectively provided on the top and the bottom of a vibrator unit, and 2 upper and lower guide shafts which contact concave parts of the coupled driving contacting parts are supported by erecting parts of a supporting part. The lower guide shaft is pressed upward by spiral springs, so that the two guide shafts press and sandwich the vibrator. Alternating current voltages having different phases are applied to the vibrator unit, whereby the vibrator unit generates a vibration wave to generate elliptical rotation vibrations in the driving contacting parts. As a result, the vibrator, and the two guide shafts and the supporting part make a relative move in the shaft direction. Either the guide shafts or the vibrator is fixed, and the other is linked to an object to be driven.

  • Patent number: 7265480
Abstract: A vibration wave linear motor is a vibration wave linear motor that can drive a plurality of driving targets with a simple and small configuration. In the linear motor, two guide members sandwich two vibrators, which are individually and electrically connected to a driving circuit by a flexible board and an electrode connecting part, and individually driven with an independent operation. Two lens frames are individually driven by the two vibrators via a pin member, a board spring, and an engagement protruding part. For example, in a lens apparatus, one of the two lens frames holds a lens unit in the third group, which is involved in focus achievement, whereas the other lens frame holds a lens unit in the second group, which is involved in zooming.

  • Patent number: 7258291
Abstract: A destructive device, wherein treated material (1) including a foam body is pre-compressed in thickness direction and fed to the opposed part of a pair of compression rolls (21, 22), partition walls forming independent air bubbles in the foam body is destructed by the compression rolls (21, 22) and foam gas is arrested into a cover (3) installed on the outlet side of the compression rolls (21, 22), the foam gas is liquefied and separated by a cooling and liquefying device (6) through a cooling device (15) after pressurized, together with medium gas (41) for collection, by a pressurizing device (5), and the medium gas for collection from which the foam gas is separated is returned into the cover (3), whereby, since the foam gas is liquefied and separated in pressurized state by the cooling and liquefying device (6) by arresting the foam gas in high density inside the cover (3), the device can be remarkably downsized and simplified, and a device cost and an operation cost can also be remarkably reduced.

  • Patent number: 7230366
Abstract: In a vibration wave linear motor, a vibrator stably operates with a simple and small configuration. Both ends of a movable guide member are held by shaft bearing long holes to freely oscillate, and an angle of an inclination ? occurs according to the move of the vibrator. An inner wall of an erecting part of a supporting part also serves as a stopper, and regulates the move of the vibrator in a position where the inclination of the movable guide member becomes ?>? at the maximum. As a result, the inclination of the movable guide member is always kept to be within the range of ?>?. A problem that the inclining movable guide member contacts a portion other than a driving contacting part is prevented.

  • Patent number: 7157832
Abstract: A vibration wave linear motor comprises a vibrator unit having two driving contacting parts which are respectively formed on top and bottom surfaces of the vibrator unit, two guide members guiding the running of the vibrator unit by sandwiching the vibrator unit in parallel with the running direction. The upper guide member is fixed to the supporting member. The lower guide member is held in shaft bearing long holes, pressed upward by coil springs within hollow convex parts. The vibrator unit self-runs and moves forward and backward between the two guide members with an ultrasonic vibration. A linking pin fixed on the side surface of the vibrator unit engages with the member to be driven, so that moving force is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 7084550
Abstract: A vibrator of a vibration wave linear motor comprises two and one driving contacting parts respectively on top and bottom surfaces. A first guide member contacts the two driving contacting parts on the top surface, and both ends of a second guide member are pressed upward by spiral springs, and pressing forces are applied respectively between the driving contacting parts and the first and the second guide members. The three driving contacting parts convert elliptical vibrations, which are generated by applying a voltage to a vibrator unit, into driving force, whereby the vibrator self-runs in a direction indicated by a bidirectional arrow d with reference to the first and the second guide members. The self-running of the vibrator is conveyed, via a pin member and an engaging protruding part, to the lens frame, which then slides.

  • Patent number: 7021251
Abstract: A combustion type power tool capable of avoiding damage to seal members and a housing to prolong a service life, and capable of enhancing operability and workability. Temperature elevation of a combustion chamber frame due to combustion of a mixture of combustible gas and air is detected by a temperature sensor disposed in a housing. If the detected temperature exceeds a preset temperature, ignition of an ignition plug is prohibited by a prohibiting unit in spite of ON operation of a trigger switch. In this state, alarming is performed by a display to notify the user of the inoperable state of the tool. Similar control can be made when the temperature sensor is disposed at a cylinder, an exhaust cover and the housing.
