  • Publication number: 20080032488
Abstract: A method for the separation of multiple dies during semiconductor fabrication is described. On an upper surface of a semiconductor wafer containing multiple dies, a seed metal layer may be used to grow hard metal layers above it for handling. Metal may be plated above these metal layers everywhere except where a block of stop electroplating (EP) material exists. The stop EP material may be obliterated, and a barrier layer may be formed above the entire remaining structure. The substrate may be removed, and the individual dies may have any desired bonding pads and/or patterned circuitry added to the semiconductor surface. The remerged hard metal after laser cutting and heating should be strong enough for handling. Tape may be added to the wafer, and a breaker may be used to break the dies apart. The resulting structure may be flipped over, and the tape may be expanded to separate the individual dies.

  • Publication number: 20050257722
Abstract: This invention relates to a furnace device for eliminating volatile organic compounds in exhaust gas. The furnace device has a hollow body (10) with a gas inlet (13) and a gas outlet (11), a positioning device (20) mounted inside the body (10) and an arc generator (30) attached to the positioning device (20). The arc generator (30) has multiple cylindrical chambers (31) for accommodating the exhaust gas and multiple central rods (32) respectively penetrating through the multiple cylindrical chambers (31). In each chamber (31), an inner periphery of the chamber (31) serves as an electrode, and the central rod (32) serves as another electrode. When an effective potential difference is applied to the electrodes, arcs are generated between the inner periphery of the chamber (31) and the central rod (32) inside the chamber (31). Thereby, volatile organic compounds in the exhaust gas are burned and decomposed effectively and completely by the generated arcs.

Abstract: An inductive charger is adapted for a portable electrical devices or information products and connects with a rectifier for charging. The inductive charger includes a hollow carrier, at least a coil surrounding an outer surface of the carrier, fixed magnets and at least a sliding magnet. The carrier has a pair of end portions opposite to each other, and the fixed magnets are respectively located on the end portions of the carrier. N poles and S poles of the fixed magnets are oriented coincident with each other. The sliding magnet is located between the fixed magnets, and N pole and S pole of the sliding magnet is opposing to N poles and S poles of the fixed magnets. When the carrier is driven, the sliding magnet moves back and forth between the fixed magnets due to magnetic repulsion of the sliding magnet, which changes flux of the coil thereby producing induced electromotive force.
