  • Patent number: 6208843
Abstract: A radio frequency and microwave module for simultaneously transmitting data and audio signal comprises a transmitting unit and a receiving unit. The transmitting unit has two pre-amplifier circuit two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO), a phase-locked loop (PLL), two low pass filters (LPF) , two amplifiers, a power combiner, a ceramic filter and a transmitting antenna. The receiving unit has a receiving antenna, a ceramic filter, a first low noise amplifier (LNA), a first mixer, an amplifier, a third VCO, a PLL, a low-pass filter, a channel filter, an IF amplifier, a phase shifter, a second mixer, a second low noise amplifier (LNA), a filtering circuit and an operational amplifier. The inventive module can be used for simultaneously transmitting data and audio signal, and the frequency response of the high frequency and low frequency component of the audio signal can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 6097348
Abstract: A parabolic rectangular horn antenna includes a source aperture, a parabolic reflector, and an output aperture. The source aperture has a first port for receiving a planar wavefront signal and a second port for providing a substantially cylindrical wavefront signal. The parabolic reflector is positioned within the horn to receive the cylindrical wavefront signal, transforming it to a substantially planar wavefront signal at a predefined location. The output aperture is positioned at the predefined location and outputs the substantially planar wavefront signal. Corrugations are adjacently placed at both sides of the output aperture to optimize the antenna beam pattern.

  • Patent number: 5912798
Abstract: A dielectric ceramic filter of the type which can be applied on high frequency application is provided. The filter includes a ceramic resonator and at least a ceramic capacitor. The ceramic capacitor is disposed between two adjacent resonators. The ceramic filtering capacitor includes a non-metal plate which has been coated with conductive coatings at the upper and lower surfaces respectively. A non-conducting material (or a strong dielectric membrane) having a dielectric coefficient is coated and disposed between said conductive coatings and it can be used in high frequency applications. Wherein the pass band of the filter can be readily defined or modified according to the system such that the signal pass band can be increased or decreased and the impedance rating of the signal can be optimally set to fifty (50) ohms.

  • Patent number: 5648700
Abstract: A fluorescent lamp device includes a transparent sealed container which is filled with a working gas, an electron emitting unit which extends into the container and which is operable to emit electrons that interact with the working gas to generate short-wave ultraviolet energy, and a light emitting member which is disposed in the container and which is made of an insulator material. The light emitting member has an external surface coated with a layer of fluorescent material that converts the ultraviolet energy into visible light.
