    Abstract: A touch-control display panel includes a touch-control electrode including a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrode overlapping with the first electrodes in insulation, a plurality of cascaded first touch-control units selectively connected with the first electrodes, and a plurality of touch-control lines selectively connected with the second electrode. The first electrodes are stripe-shaped electrodes divided into a plurality of first electrode groups, each first electrode group including n first electrodes, with n being an integer and n?2. The first electrodes in a first electrode group are connected to a same first touch-control unit, and each of the plurality of first touch-control units respectively transmits first touch-control signals to its corresponding first electrode group.     Abstract: A method is implemented by a centralized control plane device for a software defined networking (SDN) network. The method performs joint inter-domain and intra-domain traffic engineering as a single optimization process with location varying objectives. The method includes generating a joint representation of interdomain and intradomain traffic demand with spatial differentiation where each domain can have individually defined optimization objectives. The method further includes determining a set of candidate paths for each source-destination pairs (SD) in the SDN network using the joint representation, selecting a candidate path from the set of candidate paths for each SD pair in the SDN network, and programming a set of switches in the data plane of the SDN network to forward the data traffic according to the selected candidate path.

    Abstract: Specialized language processing engines can use author-specific or reader-specific language models to improve language processing results by selecting phrases most likely to be used by an author or by tailoring output to language with which the reader is familiar. Language models that are author-specific can be generated by identifying characteristics of an author or author type such as age, gender, and location. An author-specific language model can be built using, as training data, language items written by users with the identified characteristics. Language models that are reader-specific can be generated using, as training data, language items written by or viewed by that reader. When implementing a specialized machine translation engine, multiple possible translations can be generated. An author-specific language model or a reader-specific language model can provide scores for possible translations, which can be used to select the best translation.

    Abstract: Methods implemented in a network are disclosed for dynamically distributing tasks of traffic anomaly monitoring and detecting traffic anomalies. The method starts collecting traffic statistics of large blocks of traffic flows as traffic aggregates. Based on the traffic statistics of traffic aggregates, a traffic anomaly is detected. Then for a traffic aggregate with a traffic anomaly, increased traffic sampling rate is applied to a smaller set of traffic flows within the traffic aggregate. If the smaller set of traffic flows does not contain a percentage of the traffic within the traffic aggregate, the sampling rate is further increase to an even smaller set of traffic flows until a small set of traffic flows are identified as the ones cause the traffic anomaly.
