  • Patent number: 8655106
Abstract: Automated valuation model with customizable neighborhood determination. A map image is displayed corresponding to a geographical area, and then user input accommodates definition of a particularly defined geographic area to provide custom identification of a neighborhood to be subject to automated valuation. Once the defined geographic area is established, the automated valuation model is applied to property data corresponding to properties within the defined geographic area. A subject property and corresponding properties within the defined geographic area are then displayed on a map image, preferably with articulation of the defined geographic area as the neighborhood of interest. The neighborhood may be defined by, among other criteria, inclusion within a user-defined shape, as well as exclusion of a user-defined shape from a displayed geographic area.

  • Publication number: 20130295212
Abstract: A three-dimensional object may be produced in cascaded layers from a liquid resin that solidifies upon exposure to light. A translation stage may be positioned relative to a vat that is suitable for solidifying the highest un-solidified layer of the three-dimensional object directly beneath any existing, solidified layers of the three-dimensional object. A mask image projection system may project a two-dimensional image of the highest un-solidified layer through a transparent bottom of the vat and into the liquid resin. This may cause at least a portion of the liquid resin to solidify in the shape of the two-dimensional image and to adhere to the bottom of a surface beneath the solidified layer. A shearing force may be applied between the bottom surface of the solidified layer and the surface beneath that is great enough to detach the solidified layer from the surface beneath.

  • Patent number: 8562795
Abstract: A nanoscale lithographic method in which a reusable conductive mask, having a pattern of conductive surfaces and insulating surfaces, is positioned upon a substrate whose surface contains an electrically responsive resist layer over a buried conductive layer. When an electric field is applied between the conductive mask and buried conductive layer, the resist layer is altered in portions adjacent the conductive areas of the mask. Selective processing is performed on the surface of the substrate, after mask removal, to remove portions of the resist layer according to the pattern transferred from the mask. The substrate may be a target substrate, or the substrate may be utilized for a lithographic masking step of another substrate. In one aspect of the invention the electrodes to which the charge is applied are divided, such as into a plurality of rows and columns wherein any desired pattern may be created without the need to fabricate specific masks.

  • Patent number: 8531006
Abstract: A memory capacitor based on a field configurable ion-doped polymer is reported. The device can be dynamically and reversibly programmed to analog capacitances with low-voltage (<5 V) pulses. After the device is programmed to a specific value, its capacitance remains nonvolatile. The field configurable capacitance is attributed to the modification of ionic dopant concentrations in the polymer. The ion and dipole concentrations in the ion conductive layer can be modified when the voltage biases applied to the electrodes exceeds a threshold value and can operate as a conventional capacitor when a voltage less than the threshold value is applied. The ion conductive layer will remain at a stable value after the device is modified without applying external voltage. The device has a nonvolatile memory function even when the external voltage is turned off. The memory capacitors may be used for analog memory, nonlinear analog and neuromorphic circuits.
