  • Patent number: 7864421
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a symmetrical projection screen. The screen includes a front screen member and a rear screen member. The front and rear screen members are made of a hard material, such as metal, or a hard film. Between the front and rear screen members is disposed a shock-absorbing member. The shock-absorbing member is made of a soft film having physical properties and material quality different from those of the front and rear screen members, such as compressed sponge, plastic foam, or poly vinyl chloride (PVC). The front screen member and the rear screen member are arranged in a front-and-rear symmetrical structure about the shock-absorbing member. Consequently, the deformation factors, such as external pressure or the change in the weather, are extinguished or cut off by the shock-absorbing member, whereby the flatness of the screen is maintained.

  • Patent number: 7807517
Abstract: Provided are methods for fabricating semiconductor devices incorporating a fin-FET structure that provides body-bias control, exhibits some characteristic advantages associated with SOI structures, provides increased operating current and/or reduced contact resistance. The methods for fabricating semiconductor devices include forming insulating spacers on the sidewalls of a protruding portion of a first insulation film; forming a second trench by removing exposed regions of the semiconductor substrate using the insulating spacers as an etch mask, and thus forming fins in contact with and supported by the first insulation film. After forming the fins, a third insulation film is formed to fill the second trench and support the fins. A portion of the first insulation film is then removed to open a space between the fins in which additional structures including gate dielectrics, gate electrodes and additional contact, insulating and storage node structures may be formed.

  • Publication number: 20100216184
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for simply preparing cell extracts for use as a catalyst of cell-free protein synthesis by centrifugation, which improves cost effectiveness and productivity of cell-free protein synthesis. Specifically, a conventional process for preparing cell extracts comprises the complicated steps, i.e. cell culture, cell lysis, high-speed centrifugation, pre-incubation, dialysis and the like. In comparison, the cell lysate just obtained by centrifugation is directly applied to protein synthesis, thereby providing higher producibility and more consistent productivity of protein than the conventional process. Further, the cell extracts are prepared by the simple process to reduce the protein production cost and time by about 60% and about 80%, respectively.
