Abstract: An electronic programming guide (EPG) providing apparatus and method, in which an EPG is configured as a 3D form to facilitate a search for broadcasting program information included in the EPG. The EPG providing apparatus includes an EPG screen configuring unit and a control unit. The EPG screen configuring unit configures an EPG screen such that broadcasting program information is displayed on at least three faces of a 3D polyhedron. The control unit controls the EPG screen configuring unit to configure the EPG screen such that broadcasting program information corresponding to another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel is displayed on the EPG screen based on a user input signal requesting a search for the broadcasting program information corresponding to another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel.

Abstract: Provided are a method of forming a contact and a method of manufacturing a phase change memory device using the same. The method of forming a contact includes forming on a substrate an insulating layer pattern having first sidewalls extending in a first direction and second sidewalls extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and which together delimit contact holes, forming semiconductor patterns in lower parts of the contact holes, forming isolation spacers on the semiconductor pattern and side surfaces of the first sidewalls to expose portions of the semiconductor patterns, and etching the exposed portions of the semiconductor patterns using the isolation spacers as a mask to divide the semiconductor patterns into a plurality of finer semiconductor patterns.

Abstract: A method of realizing a personal video recorder (PVR) using a home network device is provided. A client receives contents and replays the contents in a home network. The client uploads first contents received from a real time broadcasting channel to the server from a time when an external time-shift input is received, terminates the uploading of the first contents if an external replay input is received during the uploading of the first contents, replays the first contents whose uploading is terminated from a portion requested by the external replay input, and simultaneously uploads second contents to the server, received from the real time broadcasting channel at a time when the uploading of the first contents is terminated. A user can watch a live broadcast using a time-shift function such as a PVR via a home network device without a separate PVR.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for receiving remote control key data in a home network and requesting a server to perform an operation corresponding to the remote control key data. The method includes converting the remote control key data to a code which can be referred to in a web document received from the server, determining an operation corresponding to the code by referring to the web document, and requesting the server to perform the determined operation. Accordingly, even when an item corresponding to a function supported by the server is not displayed on a menu screen, a user receiving a service from the server using a client device in the home network can use the function by instinctively pressing a remote control key corresponding to the function.

Abstract: Disclosed are a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag and an RFID tag antenna thereof. The RFID tag antenna includes an antenna pattern which includes: a chip matching pattern which is disposed at a middle portion of the tag antenna, forms a closed loop, and is electrically connected to a chip; a first ejector pattern which is connected to a first side of the chip matching pattern; and a second ejector pattern which is connected to a second side of the chip matching pattern, wherein the first and second ejector patterns are symmetric with respect to the chip matching pattern, and the chip matching pattern includes a gap in the closed loop.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method of controlling the same are provided. The mobile terminal includes: a body; a sensing unit for acquiring a motion of the body; a camera provided in at least one side of the body to photograph an image; at least one display provided in at least one side of the body; and a controller for forming information related to at least one object included in the photographed image into a group according to the acquired motion and for controlling to display the information in the at least one display. Therefore, information is formed into a group and displayed according to a motion of a body and thus a state that can easily select necessary information can be provided.

An efficient layout of mailboxes and an efficient message access path can be obtained.
