Abstract: A multipath accessible semiconductor memory device having a mailbox area and a mailbox access control method thereof are provided. The semiconductor memory device includes N number of ports, at least one shared memory area allocated in a memory cell array, and N number of mailbox areas for message communication. The at least one shared memory area is operationally connected to the N number of ports, and is accessible through a plurality of data input/output lines to form a data access path between the at least one shared memory area and one port, having an access right to the at least one memory area, among the N number of ports. The N number of mailbox areas are provided in one-to-one correspondence with the N number of ports and are accessible through the plurality of data input/output lines when an address of a predetermined area of the at least one shared memory area is applied to the semiconductor memory device. An efficient layout of mailboxes and an efficient message access path can be obtained.

The semiconductor memory device includes: a die in which a plurality of internal circuits are integrated; a plurality of first and second channel pads having a first pad size and a first pad pitch, disposed in an alternating manner in a straight line at a center part of the die, and divided into a plurality of parallel rows, wherein the plurality of first and second channel pads are configured to selectively contact test probes in an alternating manner to receive an external wafer test signal and to output a signal generated by the plurality of internal circuits to the exterior. Therefore, it is possible to perform a test using plural channel pads during a wafer test of the semiconductor memory device using a plurality of probes of a probe card without incorrect contacts or non-contact with adjacent pads.

Abstract: A flexible device, a flexible pressure sensor, and a fabrication method thereof. The present flexible device includes: a first flexible substrate formed of a flexible material to have a flexibility; an active element formed to have a predetermined thickness and a flexibility, and being attached on the first flexible substrate; and a second flexible substrate formed of a flexible material to have a flexibility, and being deposited on the active element. The flexible device and the flexible pressure sensor have a high flexibility, so that they may be applied for a medical treatment such as implantation to a living body, a human body and so forth. In addition, the flexible device has a high flexibility, so that it may be inserted to a curved surface, which contributes to remove the limit of space where the semiconductor package device may be inserted.

The address electrodes include large electrode portions provided within discharge spaces and small electrode portions provided outside the discharge spaces. Abstract: An electronic programming guide (EPG) providing apparatus and method, in which an EPG is configured as a 3D form to facilitate a search for broadcasting program information included in the EPG. The EPG providing apparatus includes an EPG screen configuring unit and a control unit. The EPG screen configuring unit configures an EPG screen such that broadcasting program information is displayed on at least three faces of a 3D polyhedron. The control unit controls the EPG screen configuring unit to configure the BPG screen such that broadcasting program information corresponding to another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel is displayed on the EPG screen based on a user input signal requesting a search for the broadcasting program information corresponding to another broadcasting time zone or another broadcasting channel.

The refresh controller determines whether to activate an internal refresh operation at a transition in port authority according to such information stored in the refresh register.

Abstract: A plasma display panel design having a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. Within the display area are discharge cells, and within the peripheral area are dummy cells that serve as a location where fluorescent paste is injected onto in an early stage of making the display, enabling the injection amount and injection speed from a nozzle to stabilize before the fluorescent material is deposited into the discharge cells. A surface area that the fluorescent material is deposited on in the peripheral area is increased to provide for a more rapid stabilization of the injection pressure and injection amount of the paste in the making of the display. A sufficient gap is present between a sealant and the dummy structure so that air and foreign matter can be expelled.

Abstract: A method for controlling a plurality of devices including a master device having AV terminals and slave devices connected to the master device through a communication control line, with the use of a single remote control. Other variations further include having striped and matrix patterned barrier ribs, forming the discharge sustain electrodes in tabs extending in pairs into the middle of the discharge cells, and varying the width of address electrodes at various locations outside of the discharge cells.
