Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for utilizing an alternative Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) node in a consumer telecommunications system. In use, an Sy session for a subscriber of a consumer telecommunications network is established, the Sy session being between a first PCRF node and an Online Charging System (OCS) node of the consumer telecommunications network. Additionally, the first PCRF node specifies an alternative PCRF node. Further, information associated with the Sy session is maintained at the alternative PCRF node. In addition, the first PCRF node is monitored and it is determined whether the first PCRF node is responsive to communication therewith. Responsive to determining that first PCRF node is not responsive to communication therewith, the Sy session is continued between the OCS node and the alternative PCRF node.

The body defines a first through hole corresponding to the lens and includes a first surface. The movable tray is positioned on the first surface and is used for receiving the first filter and the second filter. The gear is arranged on the first surface by a rotating shaft, the gear is configured to engage with the movable tray to switch the first filter and the second filter. The protective cover is disposed on the body and partially covers the gear.

Abstract: A method includes a workload management (WLM) server that receives a first CHECK WORKLOAD command for a workload in a queue of the WLM server. It may be determined whether the workload is ready to run on a WLM client. If the workload is not ready to run, a wait time for the workload with the WLM server is dynamically estimated. The wait time is sent to the WLM client. If the workload is ready to run, then a response is sent to the WLM client that workload is ready to run.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for managing a shared quota for a plurality of network subscribers in a consumer telecommunications network. In use, an Sy interface session is established for a subscriber of a consumer telecommunications network, the Sy interface session being between a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) node and an Online Charging System (OCS) node of the consumer telecommunications network. Further, it is determined whether the subscriber is associated with any multi-subscriber shared usage counters on the consumer telecommunications network. Responsive to determining that the subscriber is associated with at least one multi-subscriber shared usage counter on the consumer telecommunications network, a reference to the at least one multi-subscriber shared usage counter is provided to the PCRF node by the OCS node. Additionally, the OCS node monitors the at least one multi-subscriber shared usage counter.

Abstract: The embodiments herein include a primary-side controller for a switching power converter that is capable of receiving a detection signal from a secondary-side detection circuit indicating that an output voltage has reached a condition. The controller determines the appropriate action once a detection signal has been received by distinguishing whether a dynamic load condition has been placed on the power supply versus other operating conditions.

Abstract: A method of constructing a customized foot orthotic model comprises receiving a model for a contoured surface of a foot device, the model corresponding to a plantar surface of a foot. The model includes data representing three-dimensional coordinates of discrete points on the contoured surface. Coordinates of selected discrete points along selected longitudinal and transverse lines on the contoured surface are obtained, and the vertical coordinates of points are adjusted based on received orthotic parameters for a customized orthotic device. A foot orthotic model is constructed, comprising data representing an orthotic surface. The orthotic surface is constructed based on the points with adjusted coordinates, and the foot orthotic model is provided to a fabrication facility for automated fabrication of the foot orthotic device.

Abstract: A primary-only power supply enables transmission of a signal or message from the secondary side of an isolated power supply to the primary side. To enable robust detection of the message without interfering with primary side sensing for output regulation, a configurable impedance current path is configured between the primary winding and ground. The primary side controller controls the configurable impedance current path to have a relatively low impedance during the normal mode and a relatively high impedance during the messaging mode.

Abstract: A media gateway that services a plurality of client devices may be used to combine a plurality of encoded multimedia transport streams, which may comprise a buffered copy of received encoded broadcast multimedia transport stream and an encoded local multimedia transport stream that pertains to the broadcast transport stream. The media gateway may decode the encoded broadcast multimedia transport stream to extract broadcast multimedia content carried therein based on determination of capabilities of one or more client devices used in playback of the content. The encoded local multimedia transport stream may be generated based on local multimedia content generated and/or captured via one or more client devices. The buffering duration of the received encoded broadcast multimedia transport stream may be adaptively determined, to ensure that the encoded local multimedia transport stream and the encoded broadcast multimedia transport stream are synchronized when they are combined.

A determination is made from the resource requirement of a resource allocation of physical nodes for the requested physical nodes and the processes. The execution plan is updated to generate an updated execution plan indicating the physical nodes on which the processes will execute according to the received resource allocation.

An execution plan is generated indicating a plurality of processes. Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a system selectively compresses data fields in a parallel data flow. The system identifies within an execution plan for the parallel data flow a first instance of a data field within a stage of the parallel data flow. The system traces the identified data field through stages of the parallel data flow and determines a score value for the identified data field based on operations performed on the identified data field during traversal of the stages. The system compresses the identified data field based on the score value indicating a performance gain with respect to the compressed data field. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for selectively compressing data fields in a parallel data flow in substantially the same manners described above.

Abstract: Camera module with switchable light filters includes a lens module, a bearing rotating device, a visible light filter, and an infrared light filter. The bearing rotating device includes a rotating shaft, at least one guiding stick, and a bearing plate. The rotating bearing plate holds the two filters and defines an arcuated guiding slot. The circle center of the arcuated guiding slot is the rotating shaft. A visible light filter and an infrared light filter are switchable, their movement being governed by the guiding stick and the guiding slot, to respective alignment with an optical axis of the lens module. The camera module can rotate the bearing plate to switch the infrared filter for the visible filter where the acquisition of infrared light is required.

A driver device moves the filter bracket from a first position to a second position as the user requires.

The acoustic diode may be configured to have a first transmission, efficiency for acoustic waves incident on the periodic acoustic grating that is greater than a second transmission efficiency for acoustic waves incident on the uniform plate. The acoustic waves may have a. wavelength within a range of wavelengths. Devices incorporating the acoustic diode may include medical imaging devices, such as ultrasound devices, and noise reduction devices.
