    Abstract: A power converter includes a transformer with a primary and a secondary winding. Feedback and control is maintained on the primary-side while a separate load detection circuit detects dynamic load conditions on the secondary-side. The load detection circuit detects dynamic load conditions at the time when a load is connected to the output of the switching power converter and, in turn, generates an alert signal. A coupling circuit coupled to the load detection circuit at the secondary winding side of the transformer and to the controller at the primary winding side of the transformer transmits the alert signal to the controller. The controller regulates the output voltage based on the feedback signal generated at the primary side of the transformer while detecting and responding to the dynamic load condition based on the alert signal generated at the secondary side of the transformer.

According to the method, the relay agent configures multiple gateway IP addresses corresponding to a type of a client, adds the multiple gateway IP addresses to a DHCP Discover packet of the client, and sends the DHCP Discover packet to a DHCP server, so that the DHCP server allocates an IP address to the client, and sends a DHCP Offer packet to the client after determining that one gateway IP address in the multiple gateway IP addresses belongs to a same network segment as the allocated IP address, so that the DHCP server allocates the IP address to the client, thereby implementing that multiple IPs in different IP address segments are allocated to a same DHCP client type.

    Abstract: Embodiments describe the selective electroless plating of dielectric layers. According to an embodiment, a dielectric layer is patterned to form one or more patterned surfaces. A seed layer is then selectively formed along the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer. An electroless plating process is used to deposit metal only on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer. According to an embodiment, the dielectric layer is doped with an activator precursor. Laser assisted local activation is performed on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer in order to selectively form a seed layer only on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer by reducing the activator precursor to an oxidation state of zero. According to an additional embodiment, a seed layer is selectively formed on the patterned surfaces of the dielectric layer with a colloidal or ionic seeding solution.

The system compresses the identified data field based on the score value indicating a performance gain with respect to the compressed data field. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for selectively compressing data fields in a parallel data flow in substantially the same manners described above.
