    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an isolation integrated circuit, a carrier frequency control circuit and a modulation signal generation method. The isolation integrated circuit includes a carrier frequency generation circuit, a carrier frequency control circuit and a modulation circuit. The carrier frequency generation circuit generates a carrier frequency signal. The carrier frequency control circuit detects enabling periods and disabling periods of an input signal, controls the carrier frequency generation circuit to output the carrier frequency signal during the enabling periods, and controls the carrier frequency generation circuit to stop outputting the carrier frequency signal in the output periods of timing pulses during the disabling periods. The timing pulses are generated in response to detection of entering the disabling periods.

In response to a deactivate keyboard backlights signal, the embedded controller turns off the keyboard backlights. The processor communicates with the embedded controller. The processor determines whether an ultrasonic waveform is received. In response to the ultrasonic waveform being received, the processors provide the deactivate keyboard backlights signal to the embedded controller. In response to the ultrasonic waveform not being received, the processor provides the activate keyboard backlights signal to the embedded controller.

    Abstract: An information handling system includes a touchpad that accepts touch inputs to move a cursor on a display and that deflects at a front side to accept button inputs. A bracket is disposed between a touch detection surface and circuit board of the touchpad to bias the touch detection surface up and deflect in response to a push down as a button input. Conical spring ground devices coupled to the circuit board on opposing sides of the bracket interface with an ohmmeter included on the circuit board that detects a resistance from a first ground device through the system ground to a second ground device. Resistance across ground is applied by the touchpad processor to adjust touch detection sensitivity and avoid ghost inputs.

The PCB is positioned proximate to the bracket such that a surface of the PCB is adjacent to the bracket. The PCB includes a Hall sensor collocated proximate to the permanent magnet. The touch panel circuit is coupled to the Hall sensor. When the contact is received at the face plate, the PCB moves closer to the bracket. In response, the touch panel circuit receives a voltage from the Hall sensor, determines a force associated with the contact based upon the voltage, and triggers a haptic feedback response in the bracket.
