    Abstract: A chromatic confocal range sensor optical pen comprises a housing, an in/out optical fiber, a chromatically dispersive lens configuration, a reflected light dividing configuration comprising a lower NA zone and a higher NA zone, and a camera portion. The lens configuration is configured to receive source light from the optical fiber and output focused source light to a workpiece surface with axial chromatic dispersion, and receive reflected light from the workpiece surface and focus at least a portion of the reflected light to the fiber aperture. The reflected light dividing configuration is arranged to divide the reflected light into a measurement portion and an imaging portion. In some embodiments, the lower NA zone directs the imaging portion along an imaging optical path to the image detector, and the higher NA zone directs the measurement portion along a measurement optical path to a point proximate to the fiber aperture.

    Abstract: A catalyst which can catalyze ring-addition reaction of CO2 and an alkylene oxide at 0˜180° C. under 0.1˜8.0 MPa to produce a corresponding cyclic carbonate, and the preparation thereof. The catalyst is a conjugated microporous macromolecule polymer complexed with cobalt, chromium, zinc, copper or aluminium, and by using the macromolecule catalyst complexed with different metals to catalyze the reaction of CO2 and alkylene oxide at normal temperature and normal pressure, a yield of the corresponding cyclic carbonate of 35%˜90% can be obtained. The catalyst is easy to recover and the re-use of the catalyst has no influence on the yield; additionally, the yield can reach over 90% by controlling the reaction conditions.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing call drop rate by validating reconfiguration messages based on service data unit (SDU) lifetime are described. A receiving device, such as a user equipment, may determine a receiving delay between receiving a first protocol data unit (PDU) and receiving a last PDU of a reconfiguration message SDU. The receiving delay may be compared with an SDU lifetime. The reconfiguration message SDU may be validated based on the comparison of the receiving delay with the SDU lifetime. A receiving delay that is greater than the SDU lifetime may indicate that the SDU is stale and, therefore, invalid. A receiving delay that is less than the SDU lifetime may indicate that the timing of the SDU is valid and the reconfiguration message SDU is to be processed. An activation time of the reconfiguration message SDU may also be honored or disregarded based on the receiving delay.
