Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a user resource reservation method and apparatus, an access point, and a network server. The user resource reservation method includes: predicting a next access point that is to be reached by a user; and sending resource reservation designating information to the access point, so that the access point reserves a resource for the user according to the resource reservation designating information. In embodiments of the present disclosure, a next access point that is to be reached by a user is predicted and the access point is instructed to reserve a resource for the user, that is, a next access point is instructed in advance to reserve an appropriate resource for the user, so that the user is successfully handed over to a network, and a probability of successful handover of the user to the network increases, thereby improving user experience.

Abstract: An optical encoder comprises an illumination source, a scale grating extending along a measuring axis direction, an optical portion, a moiré grating, and a detector portion. The optical portion comprises an aperture portion for spatial filtering of scale light from the scale grating. The moiré grating is configured to receive the spatially filtered scale light and output a spatially modulated fringe pattern toward the detector portion. The optical portion outputs the spatially modulated scale light to form a primary interference fringe pattern with a primary fringe pitch PPF. The detector portion comprises at least N respective detector elements positioned to detect N respective spatial phases of the periodic spatially modulated fringe pattern, where N is an integer that is at least three, and each respective detector element has a width dimension DW that is at least as large the primary fringe pitch PPF along a direction of the fringe displacement.

The outer yoke is in a hollow cylinder shape. The first permanent magnet group comprises multiple permanent magnets arrayed in a round shape, the multiple permanent magnets are connected to the outer yoke, and a magnetizing direction of each permanent magnet is along an axial direction. The inner yoke comprises an inner yoke upper base, an inner yoke sidewall, and an inner yoke lower base. The inner yoke upper base and the inner yoke lower base are separately extended outwards and horizontally from an upper end and a lower end of the inner yoke sidewall to form a circular ring. The armature comprises an armature upper base, an armature lower base, and an armature barrel body.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing call drop rate by validating reconfiguration messages based on service data unit (SDU) lifetime are described. A receiving device, such as a user equipment, may determine a receiving delay between receiving a first protocol data unit (PDU) and receiving a last PDU of a reconfiguration message SDU. The receiving delay may be compared with an SDU lifetime. The reconfiguration message SDU may be validated based on the comparison of the receiving delay with the SDU lifetime. A receiving delay that is greater than the SDU lifetime may indicate that the SDU is stale and, therefore, invalid. A receiving delay that is less than the SDU lifetime may indicate that the timing of the SDU is valid and the reconfiguration message SDU is to be processed. An activation time of the reconfiguration message SDU may also be honored or disregarded based on the receiving delay.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and an apparatus for running a network function, and relate to the field of information technologies such that consistent network-wide service experience can be provided for a user service on different nodes in a network. The method includes receiving information sent by a source node, about a network function required by a user service, and running the network function if the network function is not running. The embodiments of the present disclosure are applicable to switching a user service from a source node to a target node.

Abstract: This application discloses a wireless assistance method, apparatus, and system. The wireless assistance apparatus includes an obtaining module, a determining module, and a transmission module. The obtaining module is configured to obtain network status information, and the obtaining module transmits the network status information to the determining module. The determining module is configured to receive the network status information, and determine, according to the network status information, a mobile access point that needs to perform wireless assistance, and the determining module transmits information about the mobile access point to the transmission module. The transmission module is configured to receive the information about the mobile access point, and transmit assistance command information to the mobile access point, where the assistance command information is information for instructing the mobile access point to perform wireless assistance.

Abstract: A checkpoint reclaim method in a copy-on-write (COW) file system includes: obtaining, according to a checkpoint reclaim instruction, M data blocks allocated by the file system between a moment of a previous checkpoint reclaim and a moment of a current checkpoint reclaim, and the M data blocks are data blocks allocated for at least one of a checkpoint or a snapshot generated between the moment of the previous checkpoint reclaim and the moment of the current checkpoint reclaim; performing an addition operation with a fixed step on a reference count of a data block that needs to be reserved in the M data blocks, and determining, in the M data blocks, a first data block for reclaiming; determining, in N data blocks allocated for at least one of a checkpoint or a snapshot reserved at the moment of the previous checkpoint reclaim, a second data block for reclaiming.

Abstract: A chromatic confocal range sensor optical pen comprises a housing, an in/out optical fiber, a chromatically dispersive lens configuration, a reflected light dividing configuration comprising a lower NA zone and a higher NA zone, and a camera portion. The lens configuration is configured to receive source light from the optical fiber and output focused source light to a workpiece surface with axial chromatic dispersion, and receive reflected light from the workpiece surface and focus at least a portion of the reflected light to the fiber aperture. The reflected light dividing configuration is arranged to divide the reflected light into a measurement portion and an imaging portion. In some embodiments, the lower NA zone directs the imaging portion along an imaging optical path to the image detector, and the higher NA zone directs the measurement portion along a measurement optical path to a point proximate to the fiber aperture.

Abstract: A rain-test resistant, high-vapor-permeable, water-repellent and water-resistant manufacturing process for making such fabrics is provided. It is used in the dyeing and finishing process of fabric in which the fabric is treated with the treatment roller, knife roller, and spray methods. These combined methods can coat water-repellent agent on the fabric and form a very thin film on the fabric. This protective film on the fabric enhances the wash resistance of the fabric while it will not adversely affect the water repellence and water resistance of the fabric. Moreover, this technique of forming a very thin water-repellent film on the fabric rules out the conventional method with which the water-repellent agent dipped within the fabric structure is easily washed out with regular laundry of the fabric due to the lesser amount of the agent being attached onto the fabric.

Abstract: A catalyst which can catalyze ring-addition reaction of CO2 and an alkylene oxide at 0˜180° C. under 0.1˜8.0 MPa to produce a corresponding cyclic carbonate, and the preparation thereof. The catalyst is a conjugated microporous macromolecule polymer complexed with cobalt, chromium, zinc, copper or aluminium, and by using the macromolecule catalyst complexed with different metals to catalyze the reaction of CO2 and alkylene oxide at normal temperature and normal pressure, a yield of the corresponding cyclic carbonate of 35%-90% can be obtained. The catalyst is easy to recover and the re-use of the catalyst has no influence on the yield; additionally, the yield can reach over 90% by controlling the reaction conditions.

In an aspect, the method may include receiving an SRNS RELOCATION message and initiating a handover procedure from a first radio network subsystem (RNS) to a second RNS based on the SRNS RELOCATION message. The method may include identifying a downlink (DL) message and identifying an uplink (UL) message. The method may include holding the DL message and the UL message at a radio resource control (RRC) layer until completion of the handover procedure. In another aspect, the SRNS RELOCATION message may include a new FRESH value. The method may include retaining an old FRESH value determined before the SRNS RELOCATION was received. The method may include applying both the old FRESH value and new FRESH value to the DL message to determine if the DL message is valid.
