  • Patent number: 6059716
Abstract: An artificial insemination device for private use which is capable of allowing unskilled persons to achieve an artificial insemination of livestock such as cattle, horses, and deer, etc. in a simple and easy manner using frozen semen of those livestock. The device includes an in-vagina insert unit inserted into the vagina of a female to be inseminated upon injecting semen into the female, and a semen injection unit inserted into the womb canal of the female through the in-vagina insert unit upon injecting semen into the female. The in-vagina insert unit includes a hollow insert body, and an insert tube slidably fitted at its rear end in a front end of the insert body in such a manner that its length protruded from the insert body is adjustable in accordance with the depth of the vagina of the female. The semen injection unit includes an elongated semen injection tube connected at a rear end thereof to an injector, and a guide/nozzle member separably coupled to a front end of the semen injection tube.

  • Patent number: 5982076
Abstract: An electronic component involving a two-terminal type piezo-electric device is disclosed. Bent portions are formed on a terminal to fix the device, and a supporting means projects from below a portion between the terminal and a lead to be bent inwardly, so that the connection between the piezo-electric device and the terminals can be firmly and perfectly done, that the supporting portion would be simple to manufacture, and that the flow-down of the solder can be prevented, thereby upgrading the reliability of the component, and improving the aesthetic appearance of the product. The electronic component includes a part 110 having a piezo-electric device 111 and having electrodes 112a and 112b on both sides of the piezo-electric so as to be overlapped at the middle portion. A terminal part 120 has a terminal 123 for being connected to each electrode of the piezo-electric 111, and the terminal has bent portions 121 with a bending angle .alpha.

  • Patent number: 5964895
Abstract: A VRAM-based parity engine for use in a disk array controller is disclosed, in which the parity arithmetic operation is carried out in a fast and effective manner, thereby improving the performance of the RAID system. Particularly, the parity data arithmetic operation is not resorted to a processor, but to a VRAM, thereby realizing a high speed operation. In the disk array controller, a VRAM (video RAM) is used, in such a manner that the reading, updating and writing are made to be overlapped during the arithmetic operation, thereby promoting the speed of the arithmetic. Therefore, a relatively large capacity memory can be formed compared with the conventional SRAM, and therefore, a temporary buffer memory within the parity engine is used as a parity cache, thereby doubling the performance.

  • Patent number: 5905332
Abstract: An electron gun for a color cathode ray tube includes a cathode structure having three electron emitting portions in a field emission array cell. A focus electrode and a final acceleration electrode are sequentially arranged with respect to the cathode structure and form a main lens for focusing electron beams emitted from the three electron emitting portions. The eccentric distance of the electron emitting portions is shorter than the eccentric distance of the electron beam emitting holes in the focus electrode opposite the electron emitting portions. Focus characteristics and convergence characteristics are improved.

  • Patent number: 5739629
Abstract: A double cross-over type electron gun for a color CRT is provided. The electron gun includes a triode having a cathode, a control electrode and a screen electrode, for generating and controlling an electron beam, a plurality of focus electrodes sequentially disposed adjacent to the triode, for forming at least one auxiliary lens, and a final accelerating electrode disposed adjacent to the focus electrode, for forming a main lens. The electron beam generated by the triode includes a cross-over point in front of the main lens and proximate to the auxiliary lens. At least one of the auxiliary lenses disposed upstream from the main lens is formed as a quadrupole lens so that the position of the cross-over point in the horizontal direction and that in the vertical direction are different from each other. When a dynamic focusing voltage is applied, the image quality at the periphery of a screen can be greatly improved.

  • Patent number: 5600201
Abstract: An electron gun for a color cathode ray tube having a cathode, a control electrode and a screen electrode together constituting of a triode, and a main lens for focusing and accelerating an electron beam formed by the triode. The electron gun is characterized by a horizontally elongated electron beam passing hole formed in the control electrode having its long axis disposed in the arrangement direction of the electron beam passing hole. A horizontally elongated slot encompassing the electron beam passing hole having its long axis disposed in the arrangement direction of the electron beam passing hole is formed in the screen electrode opposed to the control electrode, thereby preventing the focusing characteristics of the electron beam from being reduced throughout the surface of the fluorescent layer by the influence of the deflection yoke.

  • Patent number: 5394053
Abstract: An electron gun for a color cathode ray tube having sequentially formed a cathode, a control electrode, a screen electrode, a focus electrode and a final accelerating electrode, wherein the focus electrode is constituted by first and second focus electrodes. The first focus electrode includes an evenly formed electron beam inlet plane and an electron beam outlet plane in which a portion for shaping a central electron beam passing hole is formed convexly in respect to portions for shaping outer electron beam passing holes, while the second focus electrode comprises an evenly formed electron beam outlet plane and an electron beam inlet plane in which a portion for shaping a central electron beam passing hole is formed concavely in respect to portions for shaping outer electron beam passing holes. The quadruple lens formed between outer electron beam passing holes is formed asymmetrically, to improve the convergence characteristic.
