Abstract: A control circuit used in a switching converter having a switch and an inductor. The control circuit has an error amplifying circuit, a current comparing circuit, a clock generator and a constant OFF time generator. The error amplifying circuit receives a voltage reference signal and a voltage feedback signal indicative of an output voltage signal, and provides an error signal. The current comparing circuit compares the error signal with a current sensing signal indicative of a current flowing through the inductor, and provides a comparing signal to turn the switch OFF. When the switching converter is coupled to a filtering capacitor, the clock generator provides a clock signal to turn the switch ON, and when the switching converter is coupled to a super capacitor, the clock generator is disabled and the constant OFF time generator provides a constant OFF time signal to turn the switch ON.

Abstract: Provided are methods, systems, and computer program products for a LiDAR with an increased dynamic range. The method includes filtering output pulses of an SiPM device to a substantially symmetric pulse shape and capturing timing information and intensity information of the filtered output pulses for at least one predetermined intensity level. The method includes monitoring saturation of the SiPM device, wherein a width of a saturation plateau of a respective output pulse is determined in response to saturation of the SiPM device. The method also includes extrapolating additional timing information and additional intensity information of the respective output pulse using the captured timing information, the captured intensity information, and the determined width of the saturation plateau.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for reasonably adjusting an end-of-discharge voltage of a lithium battery with attenuation of a battery life. The method includes: acquiring an end-of-charge voltage, an end-of-discharge voltage and a rated capacity based on a basic parameter table for a lithium battery, then setting a safety end-of-charge voltage and a safety end-of-discharge voltage to obtain an initial safety discharge capacity, and finally setting a preset discharge capacity of the battery; using an Ampere-hour integration method to estimate a discharged power, taking the preset discharge capacity as a discharge standard, and stopping discharge when the discharged power reaches the preset discharge capacity; and the safety discharge capacity being gradually less than the preset discharge capacity within a battery life cycle, and the battery stopping discharge when the voltage reaches the safety end-of-discharge voltage.

The power converter has a power input terminal for receiving a bus voltage, a first resistor coupled between the power input terminal and a sense terminal, a second resistor coupled between the sense terminal and a reference ground, and a bi-directional converter having a first terminal coupled to the power input terminal. The bi-directional converter converts the bus voltage received at the first terminal to a first voltage at a second terminal or converts the first voltage to the release voltage at the first terminal. The method is adjusting the release voltage by changing the ratio of the first resistor to the second resistor.

Abstract: This application provides an optical device, including an emitting assembly configured to emit an outgoing light signal, a beam splitting assembly configured to pass the outgoing light signal from the emitting assembly to a detection region, receive a reflected light signal from the detection region, and modify a transmission direction of the reflected light signal, a receiving assembly configured to receive the reflected light signal from the beam splitting assembly after the direction modification and generate an electrical signal in response to the reflected light signal. Also disclosed is a method of adjusting an optical device as described herein.
