  • Publication number: 20160364495
Abstract: In a URL error-correcting method, after a URL is received from a terminal, a server determines whether a web page corresponding to the URL exists. When there is no web page corresponding to the URL, the server determines that the URL is an incorrect URL. Similarity matching is performed using the URL with a URL in a URL database, to acquire a pre-determined quantity of URLs that are most similar to the URL, as alternative error-corrected URLs. The error-corrected URLs are sent to the terminal. The correctness of a URL is determined by means of determining whether a web page corresponding to the URL exists. When the URL is incorrect, similarity matching is performed with a URL in a URL database to obtain URLs possibly needed by a user, so as to achieve error correction of a URL.

  • Patent number: 9440552
Abstract: Hybrid or electric vehicles include a traction battery to store and provide motive energy. For effective operation of the traction battery, operating parameters, such as state of charge and battery power limits, may need to be known. The operating parameters can be based on a persistent excitation parameter of the traction battery and a measurement bias of the traction battery that depends on a temporal difference and a temperature difference between parameter measurements of the traction battery. A controller can execute instructions to implement a state estimator configured to output battery state based on a persistent excitation parameter of the traction battery and a measurement bias of the traction battery that depends on at least one of a temporal difference and a temperature difference between parameter measurements of the traction battery, and operate the traction battery according to output of the state estimator.

  • Patent number: 9381825
Abstract: Hybrid-electric and pure electric vehicles include a traction battery comprised of many cells. During repeated charge and discharge cycles, the state of charge of the cells may vary from cell to cell. To optimize traction battery usage, it is desirable that the state of charge of the cells be equalized. Cell balancing can equalize the states of charge and improve battery performance. To achieve proper cell balancing, an accurate state of charge value should be known for each cell. An accurate state of charge value may be achieved when a persistent excitation condition and an estimation convergence condition are met. If the conditions are not met, active excitation of the battery may be performed to improve the chances of meeting the conditions. Cell balancing may be initiated and terminated according to state of charge values estimated when the conditions are satisfied.

  • Patent number: 9368841
Abstract: A vehicle is disclosed comprising a battery and a controller. Projected battery impedance parameters are calculated based on predetermined parameter values and historical parameter values generated by a battery parameter estimation model. The values may be weighted according to time data associated with the historical impedance parameter values and a temperature of the battery. Recent historical impedance parameter values may affect the projected battery impedance parameter values more than older historical impedance parameter values. The model is initialized with projected parameter values at vehicle initialization. Battery power capability is calculated using the projected parameter values for a period of time following vehicle initialization. After the period of time following vehicle initialization, battery power capability is calculated using impedance parameters generated by the model. The period of time following vehicle initialization may end when the model output has converged to a stable solution.

  • Patent number: 9272634
Abstract: Hybrid-electric and pure electric vehicles include a traction battery. During vehicle operation, impedance parameters of the traction battery may be estimated. To ensure accurate estimation results, certain persistent excitation criteria may be met. These conditions may not always be met, in which case active excitation of the traction battery power demand may be initiated. The invocation of active battery excitation may be based on a variability of estimates of a battery parameter and an age of a most recent estimate of the battery parameter. As the variability of the parameter estimates increases, the time between active battery excitation requests may decrease.
