  • Publication number: 20070091189
Abstract: A solid-state imaging device, and a camera provided with this device, that can output high quality images at high speed are realized by preventing improper OB clamping in a solid-state imaging device that performs pixel mixing in the horizontal direction. Vertical final stages, which are the transfer stages closest to a horizontal transfer component 4, are provided with provided with independent transfer electrodes V3-1, V3-2, V3-3, V6-1, V5-2, and V5-3 that are independent of other columns in a region between the horizontal transfer component and an effective pixel region, and a common transfer electrode that is common to all of the columns in the region between the horizontal transfer component 4 and the OB region. Further, in the vertical final stages, the entire region between the OB region and the horizontal transfer component, or the region minus openings formed for the wiring of V3-1 and V5-1 in the columns closest to the effective pixel region, is covered with a light blocking film.

  • Patent number: 7207809
Abstract: In a terminal manufacturing method of the present invention, first a thin plate-like body including a thin plate-like terminal portion and a thin plate-like leg portion is formed with a die. The thin plate-like terminal portion has a shape corresponding to a terminal portion 24 of an upper-level terminal 22 and a terminal portion 30 of a lower-level terminal 28. The thin plate-like leg portion has the shape corresponding to a leg portion 26 of the upper-level terminal 22 and a leg portion 32 of the lower-level terminal 28. Then, the upper-level terminal 22 is formed by bending the thin plate-like leg portion toward one side of a plate-thickness direction. Also, the lower-level terminal 28 is formed by bending the thin plate-like leg portion toward the other side of the plate-thickness direction. Thus, by simply changing the bending direction of the thin plate-like leg portion, either the upper-level terminal 22 or the lower-level terminal 28 can be formed.

  • Patent number: 7201617
Abstract: A female terminal, into which a male terminal is inserted and connected, is formed in a shape of a substantially square tube. Respective one portions, in an axial direction and between corner portions, of a ceiling wall, a floor wall, and a pair of left and right side walls, which are four wall portions, are plate spring portions which contact the male terminal while elastically deforming independently of one another. Because the wall portions themselves structure the plate spring portions, there is no need to provide a plate spring within a tube wall, and the female terminal can be made compact. Further, contact pressure is ensured because the respective plate spring portions contact the male terminal from different directions.

  • Publication number: 20070069121
Abstract: An ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometer, which can perform accurate mass measurement of a product ion based on MS/MS and MSn has an ion source for ionizing a sample, an ion trap capable of temporarily trapping ions, and a time-of-flight mass spectrometer. The ion source produces ions of the sample as a measurement target and ions of a reference sample each having a known mass value. A precursor ion is selected from among the ions of the measurement target sample, and the selected precursor ion is excited and fragmented in the ion trap to produce a product ion. The reference sample ions are introduced to and trapped in the ion trap. The trapped product ion and reference sample ions are expelled out of the ion trap and introduced to the time-of-flight mass spectrometer, thereby obtaining a mass spectrum.

  • Patent number: 7191370
Abstract: A data receiver (201) or gateway (203) notifies a data transmitter (202) of error conditions in the data receiver (201) or gateway (203) via networks 1 (204) and 2 (205). According to the error conditions, the data transmitter (202) transmits data at a packet length corresponding to the error rate even for the higher level protocol common the networks 1 (204) and 2 (205), as well. Thus, the fraction of packets lost can be reduced in the higher level protocol common to the networks 1 (204) and 2 (205).

  • Patent number: 7137853
Abstract: A connector in which a housing and a retainer are coupled with sufficient strength when the connector is reduced in scale. In this connector, provisional anchoring pieces and main anchoring pieces are provided at two end portions of an inner peripheral wall of an insertion hole formed in the housing, with lengths along a direction that intersects a direction of insertion of the retainer into the insertion hole. At outer sides of two end portions of the retainer, anchorage pawls, which are formed to be engageable with the main anchoring pieces and the provisional anchoring pieces, are provided with lengths along the intersecting direction. With this structure, when the retainer is inserted into the insertion hole of the housing, the anchorage pawls engage, at two end portions of the connector, with the provisional anchoring pieces and with the main anchoring pieces.
