    Abstract: To adjust the tension on the snare of a drum head, one end of the snare is supported to an adjustment device, including a base on the drum trunk, a slide guided for movement vertically along the base and the snare is attached to the movable slide. First and second switches are pivotable on the base between off and on positions. Two shafts are attached to the slide. A respective link leads from each switch to a lifting member on the shaft and moving up of the switch moves the lifting member to raise the shaft to raise the slide to a varying extent depending upon the height of an adjustment nut on each of the shaft. The nuts on the two share adjustable for setting high tension and low tension on the snare.

    Abstract: To prevent the holding arms on a snare drum holder from interfering with either lug bolts on the side of a drum body or a snappy connected below the drum body, there are three snare drum support arms which extend from an upper annular member and are spaced at the unequal angles, not at 120 degrees, so that the arms supporting the snare drum do not pass over or interfere with either the lug bolts or the snappy. The snare drum holding arms are additionally supported by connecting links connected to a lower annular member which is movable along the post on which the upper annular member is held, collapsing or raising the arms for the drum as the lower annular member is moved up and down. The tilt angle of the snare drum holding arms is also adjustable at the post supporting the holder.

    Abstract: To connect a large and a small diameter pipe, a pipe connector has a tightening bush with a cut through it and is compressed around the pipe and has a main body with a receptacle for the tightening bush. The tightening bush has first axial ribs on a circumferential region of the periphery. The main body receptacle has cooperating complementary second internal ribs engaged by the first ribs so that as the bush is tightened, it does not rotate in the receptacle. A large pipe holder extends down from the receptacle for the bush and receives the large diameter pipe. An auxiliary bush may be disposed inside the large pipe in the radial space between the large and small diameter pipes.

    Abstract: A structure for confirming the adjusted position of a drum pedal, wherein the drum pedal includes a support for a beater rotary shaft, a beater on the rotary shaft and a pedal connected by a sprocket and chain to rotate the shaft. A cam fixed on the protruding end of the shaft is urged by a spring to a standard orientation for the cam and the shaft. The rotary orientation of the cam on the shaft determines the initial spacing of the beater from the drumhead and the initial position of the pedal plate. A display member disposed on the part of the shaft that protrudes beyond the cam has a display scale which matches a standard position indicator on the cam to indicate the angular extent to which the shaft is rotated from a standard or initial orientation and therefore the extent to which the beater is initially off the drumhead and the extent to which the pedal plate is off a standard orientation.

    Abstract: An electric guitar which is equipped with a piezo pickup wherein the lengths of the strings are not changed by the rotation of the main saddle body in connection with fine tuning and during tremolo performance. The electric guitar has a piezo pickup and has a main saddle body that is held so as to be rotatably adjustable in a back and forth direction about an axle. The main saddle body is held pivotally by a saddle holding member on a base plate on the guitar body. The base plate is installed so as to freely swing with respect to the surface of the guitar body to provide a tremolo effect. The top surface of the piezo pickup constantly contacts the string that is held by the main saddle body, at least during fine tuning, by rotatable adjustment of the main saddle body and in the possible swinging range of the base plate during a tremolo performance, thereby avoiding an out of tune situation during the tremolo performance.
