    Abstract: A rotary creel including a base, a spindle shaft rotatably mounted to the base and protruding forward from the base, a plurality of bobbins mounted to a protruded portion of the spindle shaft through bobbin holders; and a guide plate mounted in a distal end portion of the spindle shaft through a guide arm so as to be positioned in front of the bobbins. A yarn return unit is attached to the distal end portion of the spindle shaft through a front holder. The guide arm is attached to the front holder. The guide plate is positioned in front of the yarn return unit. When the spindle shaft is rotated, a plurality of yarns wound around the plurality of bobbins can be rotated and simultaneously supplied through the yarn return unit and the guide plate.

In the direct-winding sample warper, a yarn is wound directly on a warper drum by a yarn winding means without using a conveyer belt so that various inconveniences due to the conventional conveyer belt can be entirely eliminated.

If a usage rate of a transferring FIFO buffer 130a (130b) exceeds a threshold value in the process of transmitting a packet held in a transmitting FIFO buffer 120a (130b) on a priority basis, the priority order of a transfer packet is made higher than that of a transmit packet so that the transfer packet is transferred to the Ethernet 820a or 820b in preference to the transmit packet.

Further, the camera has a manually operable switch and a protect signal recording apparatus operable in response to the operation of the manually operable switch for recording a protect signal into the record medium. The protect signal will inhibit the erasure of a picture image signal recorded in the record medium. The camera also has a controller for inhibiting erasure of a picture image signal at a portion of the record medium corresponding to the protect signal.
