Abstract: An image projection system includes a projector to project a projected image onto a drawing surface of a whiteboard, a drawn-image detecting portion to detect a drawn image which is drawn on the drawing surface of the whiteboard while the projector is projecting the projected image, and a modification portion which, in the case where the drawn image is detected, to specify from the projected image which is projected onto the projection surface a part including at least a drawn image part overlapping the detected drawn image, and modify the specified part of the projected image, on the basis of the detected drawn image, so as to emphasize or cancel the drawn image.

Abstract: In a recording medium, a program for making a computer execute processing is stored. The processing includes detecting a recipient's domain name of an e-mail to be transmitted with data attached to the e-mail from a recipient's address of the e-mail, deciding a format of the data depending on the detected recipient's domain name, formatting the data into the decided format, and transmitting the data formatted into the decided format to the recipient's address as an attachment of the e-mail.

Abstract: The system according to the present invention includes: a portable storage medium which can store data and job data regarding a job to be executed by the image processing apparatus; an information processing apparatus which can record and read the job data in the portable storage medium to be executed by the image processing apparatus; and at least one image processing apparatus which can read and update the job data stored in the portable storage medium. The image processing apparatus reads the job data stored in the portable storage medium and executes image processing based on the job data. Abstract: An information processing system stores image files formed by an image forming apparatus in a desired storage position in an information processing terminal through simple operations. The information processing terminal, in accordance with an instruction to incorporate an image file, sends to the image forming apparatus information that includes at least identification information by which to identify a storage destination for the image file, a file name for the data file corresponding to a selected icon and storage position information that indicates the storage position in a folder of a directory in the storage destination in which the data file is to be stored. The image forming apparatus registers the information, and causes a selection key for the registered information to be displayed. A new selection key is created for information to be displayed when new settings information is registered based on the information sent from the information processing terminal.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for information processing in a network system providing shared folders across a plurality of information processing apparatuses (personal computers) via network. A shared folder management table contains the IP addresses, identifiers of the personal computers, the names of shared folders, and the number of times or attempts to transmit data, etc. Searching of the shared folders is performed at given intervals of time and a search result is compared with the last search result. Based on the search result, a new management data founded is registered in the management table. If a destination personal computer remains inaccessible longer than predetermined time, management data of such personal computers are deleted from the management table.

Abstract: A printed material is read to provide an image data thereof. The printed material includes an image of an original, and an additional image not recognized or hard to be recognized with naked eyes. The additional image is to be visualized when an image is formed based on the image data with an image forming apparatus. Further, the printed material includes and a code which represents information. When the code is detected in the image data, a stamp image is synthesized with the image data based on the detected code. Then, the image data synthesized with the stamp image is provided.
