    Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a main system circuit, a storage, a power button, a power-off trigger circuit, a system power-off circuit, a power supply circuit, and a configuration power-off circuit. The power-off trigger circuit is coupled to the power button and provides a system power-off signal and a configuration power-off signal when the power button is detected to be continuously pressed and a pressing time is greater than a predetermined time. The system power-off circuit is coupled to the power-off trigger circuit and the power supply circuit and stops providing the main system circuit with a system power supply voltage provided by the power supply voltage according to the system power-off signal. The configuration power-off circuit is coupled to the power-off trigger circuit and the storage and drives the configuration power supply voltage provided to the storage down to a ground voltage according to the configuration power-off signal.

    Abstract: Methods of forming magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) memory cells used in a magneto-resistive random access memory (MRAM) array are provided. A pre-clean process is performed to remove a metal oxide layer that may form on the top surface of the bottom electrodes of MTJ memory cells during the time the bottom electrode can be exposed to air prior to depositing MTJ layers. The pre-clean processes may include a remote plasma process wherein the metal oxide reacts with hydrogen radicals generated in the remote plasma.

    Abstract: In a method an Intelligent Data Conversion (IDC) engine of a dataflow system detects a stage transition of a dataflow application executing on the dataflow system. In response, the IDC engine determines that data among stage data of the application has a first Stage Data Format (SDF). The IDC engine determines that a first processing unit of the dataflow system can process data having a second SDF and determines a data conversion to convert data among the stage data to have the second SDF. The IDC engine also determines a second processing unit, of the dataflow system to perform the data conversion and dispatches the second processing unit to perform the data conversion. The dataflow computing system can include a runtime processor and the IDC engine can interact with the runtime processor to detect the stage transition and/or dispatch the first processing unit.

The seed layer is patterned using the unremoved portion of the patterned mask layer as a mask.
