  • Publication number: 20170052588
Abstract: A hands-free control method for an electronic device requires a display device, a storage device, and a camera in the device. The method includes capturing an infrared image of a user's eye and a direction of gaze of a user's eye being analyzed according to the captured infrared image to determine a focus of the eye on the display device. Movements of the focus on the display device according to a previous position and a current position of the focus of the eye can be analyzed. A control instruction is generated according to a relationship between control instructions and eye movements and voice instructions can be generated based on received voice command from the user. The display device is controlled to perform predetermined actions when the voice instruction matches with the control instruction.

  • Patent number: 9575194
Abstract: A method for processing seismic data includes receiving seismic data and a velocity model (c(x)) for a plurality of locations (x), scaling a dimension of the seismic data according to the velocity model (c(x)) to provide a velocity normalized seismic data, and generating a final image (S(x)) of the subsurface using the velocity normalized seismic data. The velocity normalized seismic data may be a reverse-time migration image (I(x,?)) corresponding to the plurality of locations (x) and a plurality of propagation distance offsets (?). The method may also include transforming the reverse-time migration image (I(x,?)) for the plurality of selected positions (x) to a wavenumber domain to provide velocity normalized wavenumber data (I(k,?)) and suppressing data components corresponding to non-physical or undefined reflection angles to provide enhanced wavenumber data (I?(k,?)) and using the enhanced wavenumber data (I?(k,?)) to generate the final image (S(x)). • Publication number: 20170010159
Abstract: A real-time birefringent imaging spectrometer based on differential structure is provided. A polarization beam splitter to add an imaging branch is set. Meanwhile, the structure alters the conventional optical structure to the differential structure by setting another polarization beam splitter. Taking the difference between these two interferogram obtained by two branches of differential structure as the final interferogram and performing the required post-processing calculations produces the spectrum at each pixel. Common-mode error is intensively restrained due to the differential structure, and 50% of the optical loss is avoided because of casting off the analyzer; a high spatial resolution, high spectral resolution image is acquired by combining the high spatial resolution, colorful image with the low spatial resolution, high spectral resolution image.

  • Patent number: 9542456
Abstract: Distinct names of merchant entities in a transaction processing database are automatically corrected to standard names of entities by identifying non-standard features from the distinct names that do not uniquely identify the standard names of entities, and processing each distinct name with a selected regular expression tailored to remove the non-standard features and convent the names to a standard name format. Fuzzy matching is used to identify standard names of entities corresponding to the standard name formats.
