  • Publication number: 20160161972
Abstract: A scaled voltage supply to supply voltage biases to circuits in voltage zones. The scaled voltage supply includes a master voltage corresponding to a voltage drop across a master-upper rail having a voltage Vdd and a master-lower rail having a voltage Vss=0. Further, the supply includes a voltage-divider network dividing the master voltage Vdd into intermediate voltages ?Vdd, ?Vdd, etc., wherein ? and ? are predetermined constants. These intermediate voltages scale with the master voltage and are supplied to the voltage zones using non-invasive soft rails. In one implementation the soft rails use voltage mirrors to supply the intermediate voltages to the circuits within voltage zones.

  • Publication number: 20150369638
Abstract: The present invention provides a high-dynamic-range sensing device and the sensing method thereof. The high-dynamic-range sensing device includes a control unit and sensing units with different sensing ranges. In the sensing method, the sensing units give sensing values, and then the control unit compares the sensing values and the upper sensing limit of the sensing units, respectively. When a sensing value is equal to the upper sensing limit, the control unit rejects the sensing value or interrupts the sensing of the sensing unit thereof. Thereby, the sensing device quickly excludes the sensing units which obtain saturated signals and their sensing values and thus switches between the alternative sensing units with different sensing ranges or picks up the optimum one of the sensing values.

  • Publication number: 20150344352
Abstract: A low dielectric constant glass fiber, in mass percentage, includes 50%˜60% of SiO2, 10%˜20% of Al2O3, 12%˜20% of B2O3, 0˜4% of CaO, 4%˜10% of MgO, 0.1%˜0.5% of Na2O+K2O, 0˜0.5% of Li2O, 0.2%˜3% of F2 and 0˜0.2% of Fe2O3. Compared with the related art, the glass composition contains higher content of SiO2, which can greatly reduce dielectric properties of the glass fiber. Meanwhile, a small amount of F2 is added thereto, which not only can effectively improve the fiberizing temperature of the glass fiber but also can reduce glass viscosity and density and reduce glass refractive index and dielectric properties. In addition, lower content of CaO is further contained, but almost no alkali metal particles such as Na2O+K2O are contained, which further reduces the dielectric properties of the glass fiber.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an urchin-like iron oxide and a method for producing the urchin-like iron oxide. The urchin-like iron oxide comprises a core and multiple needle-like elongations protruded from the core. The needle-like elongations could be wire, rod, tube, cone, and flake. The length/width ratio of the needle-like elongation is high enough to apply in an optoelectronic field. The method in accordance with the present invention is to stably heat an iron-contained powder under room temperature by a thermal oxidation. The surface of the iron-contained powder is slow oxidized to form an urchin-like iron oxide with multiple uniform distributed needle-like elongations protruded from the surface. The size of each needle-like elongation is easily adjusted and changed by controlling the heating temperature. The method has advantages of simplified operation and lowered expense.
