Abstract: A method of verifying an integrated circuit stack includes adding a first dummy layer to a first contact pad of a circuit, wherein a location of the first dummy layer is determined based on a location of a second contact pad of a connecting substrate. The method further includes converting the first dummy layer location to the connecting substrate. The method further includes adjusting the first dummy layer location in the circuit in response to a determination that the first dummy layer location is misaligned with the second contact pad. The method further includes performing a first layout versus schematic (LVS) check of the connecting substrate including the first dummy layer in response to a determination that the first dummy layer is aligned with the second contact pad.

Abstract: In examples, a package comprises a semiconductor die having a device side comprising circuitry formed therein. The package comprises a planarized passivation layer abutting the device side and a horizontal metal member coupled to the device side by way of vias extending through the passivation layer. The horizontal metal member has a thickness ranging between 4 microns and 25 microns. The package also comprises a metal post coupled to and vertically aligned with the horizontal metal member without a sputtered seed layer between the metal post and the horizontal metal member. The metal post has a vertical thickness ranging between 10 microns and 80 microns. The package also comprises a polyimide (PI) layer contacting the metal post, the horizontal metal member, and the passivation layer. The PI layer is not positioned between the metal post and the horizontal metal member. A thickness of a thickest portion of the PI layer ranges between 3 microns and 80 microns.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of an electronic device is provided. The manufacturing method of the electronic device includes a detection step. The detection step is used to detect the pressure distribution of a manufacturing element. The detection step includes: providing a detection element; pressing the manufacturing element on the detection element to generate a plurality of indentation patterns; converting the plurality of indentation patterns into a plurality of image data; using the plurality of image data to calculate an image feature value; and comparing a relationship between the image feature value and a threshold, and generating a comparison result.

Abstract: Systems and methods relating to a smart elastic fabric tape are disclosed. For example, a method may include interrogating a sensing mesh using an electrical impedance tomography (EIT) device, wherein the sensing mesh is affixed onto skin nearby a musculoskeletal (MSK) region of interest, wherein the sensing mesh comprises a nanocomposite thin film disposed on elastic fabric tape, and wherein the sensing mesh forms a geometrical pattern on the skin; generating, in real-time, EIT conductivity maps from interrogating the sensing mesh; and generating, in real time, strain distribution and strain directionality data of the MSK region of interest based on the EIT conductivity maps.
