    Abstract: A shielded SODIMM system for reducing RF emissions of a SODIMM connector is disclosed herein. SODIMM connector RFI presently interferes with connectivity and is also an obstacle for higher speed memory applications. The shielded SODIMM system includes a SODIMM connector that is at least partially housed by a SODIMM connector shield, to partially and/or substantially reduce or block RF emissions from the SODIMM connector. The SODIMM connector shield is at least partially conductive and is coupled to landing pads on a surface of a motherboard printed circuit board (“PCB”). The landing pads of the motherboard PCB that are coupled to the SODIMM connector shield are coupled to ground, which grounds the SODIMM connector shield. Grounding the SODIMM connector shield that at least partially houses the SODIMM connector reduces RF emissions from the SODIMM connector during information transfer operations.

The camera parameters of the camera can be directly and instantly adjusted to improve brightness and sharpening of images captured by the camera and facilitate advanced driver assistance system to clearly identify road conditions.

The method includes providing a substrate prepared with isolation regions having a non-planar surface topology. The substrate includes at least first and second regions. The first region includes a memory region and the second region includes a logic region. A hard mask layer is formed covering the substrate and the isolation regions with non-planar surface topology. The method includes selectively processing an exposed portion of the hard mask layer over a select region while protecting a portion of the hard mask layer over a non-select region. The top substrate area and isolation regions of the non-select region are not exposed during processing of the portion of the hard mask layer over the select region. Hard mask residue is completely removed over the select region during processing of the exposed portion of the hard mask layer.

    Abstract: During rolling of front sections of rolling material in a rear group of roll stands of a rolling mill, rear sections of the rolling material are rolled in the front group of roll stands. A run-out speed with which the rolling material is exiting the front group of roll stands is detected. A run-in speed with which the rolling material is entering the rear group of roll stands is detected. A rolling speed with which the rear group of roll stands is driven is controlled by a controller such that a relation of the run-in speed to the run-out speed equals a predetermined value. The predetermined value is kept constant until a time point at which a tail end of the rolling material reaches a predetermined location upstream of the front group of roll stands, and is changed according to a predetermined function after the time point.
