  • Publication number: 20130056385
Abstract: A pill container and method for staging and storing pills or other small objects includes a plurality of storage cells, where each cell defines a top opening and a bottom refill opening. Pills are staged in a sorting area disposed on a bottom side of the pill container, allowing verification by sight and feel of a correct number and type of pill before being dropped into the storage cells. A slide bar is moved to an open position to align holes in the slide bar with the refill openings in the bottom of the storage cells, thereby allowing the pills to be loaded into the storage cells. The slide bar is moved back to a closed position to seal the holes in the bottom of the storage cells. A locking mechanism is provided to provide protection again accidental against accidental movement of the slide bar.

  • Publication number: 20130016380
Abstract: Methods and systems herein provide for recovering from an out of storage condition at a rip spool for storing raster data. In one embodiment, a print controller receives a command to print multiple copies of a print job. The print controller buffers for rasterization multiple copies of print data for the print job, and determines if a rip spool has storage space available to store a complete rasterized version of the print job. If the rip spool does not have storage space available, then the print controller performs a rasterization process on the multiple copies of the print data for the print job, and provides multiple rasterized copies of the print job to a print engine. If the rip spool has storage space available, then the print controller performs a rasterization process on one copy of the print job and discards additional buffered copies of the print data.

  • Publication number: 20120247620
Abstract: A low-temperature stainless steel carburization method comprises steps: providing a stainless steel material; placing the stainless steel material in a halogen-free reducing environment and maintaining the stainless steel at a first temperature ranging 1,050 to 1,400° C.; and placing the stainless steel material in a carbon-bearing atmosphere and maintaining the stainless steel material at a second temperature lower than 600° C. to implant carbon atoms into the stainless steel material to form a carburized layer on the surface of the stainless steel material. A halide-bearing gas or solution is not to be applied to activate the passivation layer, so the fabrication cost would be reduced and the safety of carburization process would be enhanced. Besides, the environment can be prevented from halide pollution.

  • Publication number: 20120251377
Abstract: A method for enhancing strength and hardness of powder metallurgy stainless steels comprises steps of fabricating a stainless steel powder into a green compact; placing the green compact in a reducing environment and maintaining the green compact at a sintering temperature to form a sintered body; and placing the sintered body in a carbon-bearing atmosphere and maintaining the sintered body at a carburizing temperature below 600° C. to implant carbon atoms into the sintered body and form carburized regions in the sintered body. Thereby, the strength and hardness of powder metallurgy stainless steels can be improved. As the carburizing temperature is lower than 600° C., chromium would not react with carbon. Therefore, the strength and hardness of powder metallurgy stainless steels can be enhanced and the superior corrosion resistance is still preserved.
